Hope Brussels

OM Belgium will host the second-annual “Hope Brussels” the week of June 27 – July 11. Throughout the week OM will be working with churches to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to the city of Brussels. They will also be providing churches with resources, as well as assisting in organized activities and exposing those involved to outreach evangelism with different religious groups in Brussels. The aim is to build bridges with people of different religious groups throughout the city through music, drama and friendship evangelism.

This year OM Belgium expects 46 participants—an increase from last year’s 25 participants—from countries including Canada, Mexico, USA, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and South Africa.

Brussels, the capital city of Belgium, is a multi-cultural city with socio-economic and religious diversity. “We feel that there is a great void in our city,” says Jan Wisse, OM Belgium Field Leader. “We believe that the people need Jesus Christ! But, how do we get thousands of people to listen to this message? Who will tell them?”

Please pray for open doors to spread the Gospel in Brussels. Pray that the relationship between OM and the churches will be strengthened. Pray that the participants will leave Belgium with a deeper understanding of God and His love.

OM Bélgica llevará a cabo el segundo programa anual Esperanza para Bruselas, será desde el 27 de junio al 11 de Julio. OM trabajará conjuntamente con las iglesias para llevar la esperanza de Jesucristo a la ciudad de Bruselas. También darán recursos a las iglesias, y les ayudarán a organizar actividades para que los participantes tengan una experiencia de evangelismo con diferentes grupos religiosos en esa ciudad. El objetivo es construir puentes de amistad con personas de diferentes grupos religiosos en la ciudad a través de la música, dramas y evangelismo por amistad.

Este año OM Bélgica espera 46 participantes, un número bastante mayor a los 25 del año pasado. Ellos vendrán de diferentes países como Canadá, México, EE.UU., Países Bajos, Bélgica, Austria y Sudáfrica.

Bruselas, la ciudad capital de Bélgica, es multicultural con una diversidad socioeconómica y religiosa. “Sentimos que hay un gran vacío en nuestra ciudad”, comentó Jan Wisse, Líder de Campo en Bélgica, y continuó: “¡Creemos que la gente necesita a Jesucristo! Pero, ¿cómo logramos que miles escuchen el mensaje? ¿Quién les predicará?”

Por favor ora por puertas abiertas para extender el evangelio en Bruselas. Ora para que la relación entre OM y las iglesias se fortalezca. Ora para que los participantes se vayan de Bélgica con un conocimiento más profundo de Dios y de su amor.
