A young man saved

Peter*, 28, came to OM’s Bus4Life four-day ministry in Dunajska Streda, Slovakia recently. Valentine, the pastor of the host church, said that when he first saw Peter in the bus, he sensed that he was honestly seeking God. Valentine helped him find a devotional book, and then asked if he could pray for Peter. Valentine prayed for a very serious health problem that Peter was experiencing.

Peter returned the following day and had a longer conversation with Valentine, sharing that he often “hears voices in his mind” telling him how bad he is. Valentine explained to him that this can either be from the enemy, or from the convicting work of the Holy Spirit. Peter felt an assurance that it was from the Holy Spirit, and was very open to hear the Gospel and agreed to receive more prayer. He even prayed together with Valentine and asked Jesus to forgive his sins, and to be his Lord and Savior! He came back again in less than an hour, this time with a smile on his face that the Bus4Life team had not seen before. Peter brought one of his cousins so that she could hear the Gospel, too!

Please pray that Peter will keep growing in his faith. Pray also for his health, his desire to be married, and for his cousin, who also heard the Gospel.

UN JOVEN SALVADO
Pedro*, un joven de 28 años, llegó al Bus por la Vida durante un programa que duró cuatro días en Dunajska Streda, Eslovaquia. Valentín, el pastor de la iglesia anfitriona, comentó que cuando vio a Pedro por primera vez en el Bus, sintió que el muchacho estaba buscando honestamente a Dios. Valentín le ayudó a buscar un libro devocional, y le preguntó si podía orar por él. El pastor oró por un problema de salud muy serio que aquejaba a Pedro.

El joven volvió el día siguiente y tuvo una conversación más larga con Valentín, contándole que a menudo “oye voces en su mente”, que le dicen lo malo que él es. Valentín le explicó que esto podía provenir del enemigo o por el trabajo de convencimiento del Espíritu Santo. Pedro sintió que seguramente vendría del Espíritu Santo, y estaba muy abierto a escuchar el evangelio y aceptó que el pastor orara de nuevo por él. Oró también con Valentín y le pidió a Jesús que perdonara sus pecados y que sea su Salvador y Señor. Pedro volvió en menos de una hora con una sonrisa que el equipo del Bus por la Vida nunca le habían visto antes, trajo con él a una de sus primas para que también escuchara el evangelio.

Por favor ora para que Pedro continúe creciendo en su fe. Ora también por su salud, su deseo de casarse y por su prima, quien también oyó el evangelio.
