It's a Small World

OM International
English/Español/Français

OM’s first ever Web Masters Forum drew 27 individuals from 19 different countries to Zaventem, Belgium 11-13 May. Under the direction of Stephen Brandon, OM’s International Web Manager, they discussed Joomla, a web content management system that OM is trying to integrate throughout the organisation. Ruth Westfall, who helps with communications for OM’s ministries in Western and Central Asia, attended to learn how to rebuild a site to be consistent with OM’s other websites. “It took me to the next level,” she said. “Things I thought I could never do, I can now see as being possible.”

In addition to receiving beginner to advanced training, participants exchanged ideas about graphics, security, translation, installation, social networking, and more. With their devotions focusing on building community, OM’s web masters are seeking to use their skills to unite people around the globe through the worldwide web, sharing stories of God’s work throughout His kingdom and encouraging believers everywhere.

“Me hizo progresar”, dijo.
