From fear to faith

OM International
During the Training Team’s inner city outreach, Malerie, from South Africa, saw God’s protection in a whole new way. The first night on the streets, Malerie was overwhelmed with fear. One night as they were reaching out to prostitutes, she and three others were taking a break on a park bench. Four guys approached them and the group became very concerned because they looked dangerous. Suddenly, the guys froze in their steps and looked at the group as if they saw a ghost. Then they turned around and walked away.

After this incident, Malerie said that she was filled with peace as she walked the streets. At home in Durban, she doesn’t go into the heart of the city because it’s too dangerous, but she was able to do so in Pretoria during the outreach.

Praise God for his protection over those ministering on the streets of Pretoria. Please pray for the women who were ministered to that night. Pray that God will break the bonds of slavery. Pray for more to be sent out to minister to these women.
