transforming lives and communities

Just in time!

OM International
Discipleship Centre Building - Autumn 2009
The first Siberian snow has fallen, but thankfully all the outside work on the DC building, (apart from a perimeter fence) has been completed.  All along, from early this spring, we had prayed and hoped to be exactly at this stage come the winter – Praise God!

The focus has now shifted to the inside. With temperatures dropping sharply (around minus 10 degrees already!), there has been plenty of renewed motivation to finish insulating, and installing the hot water boiler that will provide heating for the entire building.  As I write, gas is being connected from the pipeline outside, and hopefully within 24-48 hours we should have a warm building.  Some inside walls still need to go up, and then there’s the massive job of cladding everything in plasterboard (or gyprock/drywall – depending on which continent you come from!).

Our goal remains to have the ground floor completed and ready for use by the end of this year – this would include living space for the male students, and studying/eating facilities for all.

We’re thankful that following our latest video, a number of gifts have come in that will allow us keep working - but more is still needed!  If you haven’t already seen it, please take a look at the 5 minute video below.

Many thanks to you all!
