Refreshing the vision

OM International
English/Español

Recently, Field Leader Roberto Facanha from the Andean Region and a few others from OM attended a conference in Bogotá, Colombia that hosted approximately 400 Christians from more than 50 nations. The conference, ETHNE to ETHNE (This Generation), challenged, renewed and refreshed the attendees, who carried the same vision to reach the unreached ethnic groups of the world. Roberto shares about his experience:

“A reminder of the task, the context of hostility and persecution under which many proclaim the Good News, and the testimonies of those sharing the Gospel helped us put our own life in the right context and theology. At the conference we received heart-breaking news that the only four Christians (2 women and 2 teenagers) in an indigenous village in Colombia were taken captive and tortured until denying Christ or dying. This was a tangible testimony that made us reflect on our own lives and ministries.”

Please pray that those who attended the conference will have wisdom for the way forward. Praise God for the work He is doing in the different people groups around the world, and that He is calling many to follow Him. Please pray that more workers will be sent out.
