Transit Challenge team in Belgium

Transit Challenge team in Belgium
English/Español

The Transit Challenge team arrived in Belgium mid-February, and spent their first week strengthening existing ministries and partnerships by working in a refugee centre with Serve the City (Brussels), by providing meals for the homeless with Schaarbeek church and by helping out at Kid's Club in Zaventem.

The Transit Challenge team went on to help develop a new fellowship in Tienen last week through prayer walks, drama and distributing love letters from God at the local market. The team also presented Transform2010 to young adults at Breeze, Pure Praise (a Flemish praise night) and Wavre (French-speaking Belgium).

In partnership with the Église Protestante Évangélique de Wavre, the Transit Challenge team will spend their last week in Belgium doing street ministry in Wavre (local market) and Louvain La Neuve (student town), and hope thus to gain more insight into the needs of these communities for future work. Pray for wisdom and strength for the programme organisers in Belgium, as well as deepened partnerships through acts of service and answered prayer.
