Bermuda’s 70th Annual Agricultural Exhibition showcased not only agricultural items, but also cultural ones. On the first day, a team from Logos Hope went sporting their national costumes. Being from a ship, they had intended to share on stage about the theme of God being the captain of our lives, steering and guiding us. But just two performances ahead of them, another group came on stage and shared in a poem, “I’m the captain of my life.” This provided a great contrast for the testimony shared by Gabriel de Aquino (Brazil), in which he told of his experience steering the ship. Miriam Warkentin (Paraguay) explained that even though Gabriel had control of the ship, “in our lives we’ve found that it’s God in charge.” These performances challenged the crowd to consider God’s role in their lives.

Give thanks for the 24,375 Bermudians who visited Logos Hope during the ship’s time in port – over 35 percent of the island nation’s population! The new ‘Journey of Life’ exhibit, installed and opened to the public during the Bermuda visit, encourages visitors to reflect on life’s choices and has already provided many opportunities for crewmembers to interact with visitors on a deeper level. Pray for ongoing spiritual impact through this new tool.

QUI A LE CONTRÔLE ? – Logos Hope
