Austrians after God's Heart

Günter, an OMer in Austria, has been experiencing encouragement in ministry lately. A teacher from Zwettl Technical School invited Günter to speak to 15 young people about drug abuse, and although the teacher is not a Christian yet, she has experienced much of God's work in her life.

In another instance, Günter, who is trained to work with drug addicts, was encouraged when she received a phone call upon referral from a man recently. "I often feel as if God has forgotten me," admitted this man during Günter's second visit, "but I would like to have contact with Him." Günter was very moved by his request, as not many Austrians have told Günter that!

The Bible study that Günter leads has now come to an end, but few students were willing to take the step of commitment to Jesus. Pray for Roland, one of the students, who is after God's heart. Pray also that the man Günter meets would be delivered from his years of addiction.
 

AUSTRÍACOS CON EL CORAZÓN DE DIOS – Austria
Una profesora de la Escuela Técnica Zwettl invitó a Güter (OM) para compartir con 15 jóvenes acerca de las drogas y, aunque la profesora todavía no es cristiana, ella ha experimentado el obrar de Dios en su vida.

Güter tiene experiencia en trabajar con drogadictos y se animó mucho cuando recibió un llamado telefónico reciente. “A menudo siento que Dios me ha olvidado”, admitió el hombre que le había llamado, durante la segunda visita de Günter. “pero me gustaría tener contacto con Él”. Günter estaba muy conmovida por el pedido, porque no muchos austríacos hablan de esta manera.

El estudio bíblico que Günter dirige ya ha concluido, pero algunos estudiantes están dispuestos a tomar un nuevo paso en el compromiso con Jesús. Ora por Roland, uno de ellos, quien tiene el corazón de Dios. Ora también para que el hombre al que Günter conoció sea liberado de sus años de adicción.
