Inflation in Zimbabwe

For OM workers living in Zimbabwe, the reality of massive inflation is a daily challenge.  They write, "The country continues for a head on collision with disaster. For a long time we have been saying it can't go on - but it has. Bread now costs three times the largest denomination of paper money that we have. Inflation has raced past 1000% and is still accelerating. The bank looks like an airport check in desk with rows of people carrying suitcases full of cash. If you get robbed going to the bank you will be robbed of your suitcase and the cash will be left behind. It is worthless.

"However God is still on the throne. Opportunities for the Gospel abound. Our prayer is that we will not be distracted by the economy but be impressed by God and embrace each opportunity."  Pray for each member of the team is they cope with this challenging situation.  Pray that workers will remain focused on God and know His provision for their needs.
