International Day of Prayer for Zimbabwe

OM International
Wednesday April 18 has been declared an international day of prayer and fasting for the nation of Zimbabwe.  Millions of people are suffering in this southern African nation.  Thousands are dying from AIDS.  Food is scarce and often not available at all.  Medication is in short supply and fule is unobtainable (except at outrageous prices on the black market).  The inflation rate is running at 1200 per cent. Aid organisations are restricted from distributing life-saving supplies.  Meanwhile the country remains in the midst of serious political turmoil.

April 18 is Zimbabwe's Independence Day.  Please set aside time to join Christians around the world for this special day of prayer.  Pray for the continued work of OM Zimbabwe providing compassion, care and practical medical help to hundreds of people in the country through clinics and work among AIDS orphans.
