Communications Administrator - ICT Carlisle (United Kingdom)

OM's international communications department is in need of an
administrator to coordinate the work flow and support the International
Communications Facilitator’s role.  The role includes writing strategic
plans, proposals, and reports; managing electronic documents on OM's
intranet; organising meetings, travel, schedule and finances; and overseeing the implementation of systems for efficient administration in the communications department.


As soon as possible

as long as possible (full time)

Must be able to write well and edit documents in English (first language or very high level of written/grammatical proficiency).

Adherence to the Christian beliefs and values central to the work of Operation Mobilisation, as documented in OM’s Statement of Faith.

Thorough understanding of how OM works, which will been obtained by the communications administrator through her missionary training within OM.

Good background in administration, computer literacy and the English language.

Good attention to detail and ability to be highly organised in updating information.

Willingness to travel.

High flexibility and willingness to learn new skills particularly with respect to the use of Information Technology, the Internet, Multimedia, and Audio / Visuals.

Other desirable skills:
Able to write and edit reports, articles.
Manage databases, email forums

Willingness to learn - could be the opportunity to learn camera work, video editing and production.
