English teacher (Chile)
Preparing Chileans for missionary service in English speaking teams.
You may teach English in small classes, no more than eight adult students, with some one-to-one classes.
Classes will be for beginners or intermediate students.
As soon as possible
1-2 years (full time)
- Native or professional level English
speakers.
- TESL,TEFL and/or teaching experience.
- Spanish will be necessary to live
comfortably in Chile; however,classes
can be taken while you are here. Most
of our international team speaks
English.
- Flexible and encouraging with a desire
to help future missionaries.
- Self motivated
- The English teaching takes around 12-15 hours per week and will be combined with other responsabilities in OM Chile according your gifting- youth work, office administration, global challenge outreaches, missionary training programme or mentorship.
We have all the English class materials prepared and ready to use.
You will have someone coaching and mentorring your teaching.
All jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
