Job Opportunity

English teacher (Near East)

Different universities and language centers throughout the region are in need of English teachers. Teaching will be a part time job; this will allow you to have time for language study, cultural adaptation, and develop friendships. The spoken language is Kurdish.


As soon as possible

6-12 months (full time)

Requirements:

  • TESOL or TEFL training.
  • CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) of Cambridge University. (only for non native speakers)
  • Experience on teaching English a as a second language.
  • Flexible, creative, and able to improvise using teaching tools available locally.
  • Willingness to learn Kurdish and adapt to the culture.
  • To be a committed Christian and love the local people.

All jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
