IMPACT Belgium (Belgium)

Incarnational Ministry & Practical Application of Christ-centred Training:
We are looking for people with a passion to immerse themselves in local communities and equip the local church with a vision to changing the 0.5% Christian statistic in Belgium.
Options: Christian Cultural Center, youth work, Muslim ministries, city ministries, visual arts team & music ministry.

Training & discipleship will be combined with outreaches & local church ministries.

As soon as possible

Commitment Length

1-2 years (full time)

Requirements

At least 18 years old
Born-again Christian
Willingness to learn Belgian French or Flemish & adapt to the culture
A team player
Has a heart for mission

Belgium

Belgium :: During the Love Europe outreaches organised in Belgium 20 years ago, Andrew Bridges (UK) had to reconcile 14 different currencies, of which only 3 remain today.

Belgium :: When Andrew Bridges (UK) joined OM Belgium as bookkeeper in 1991, OM International’s Central Financial Controlling Office was still based at the conference centre in Belgium. Much has changed since.

Belgium :: Dozens of bars and cafés are crammed into a central square in Leuven, with stately facades reflecting the glamour of ages past.

Belgium :: About 30 kms east of Brussels, Leuven boasts the oldest Catholic university still in existence. Students and tourists enjoy the summer warmth over a cool glass of local beer.

Belgium :: Construction on the town hall of Leuven first began in 1439. With 236 statues representing governmental, spiritual and Biblical figures, the town hall is an architectural delight!

Belgium :: OM Internationals Communications Working Group (CWG) enjoys a half-day out to Leuven (Belgium) in May 2011.

Belgium :: OM Belgium’s fleet ministry ended suddenly on 25 March 2011. Although the vehicle was a total right-off, the driver suffered from whiplash only.
