Hope 2 Europe: Sweden and Lifehope (Sweden)
Join an exciting programme for young people taking a year out! Live in 2 European countries bringing God's message of hope. Work in international teams in the UK for the first 6 months and Sweden for the last 4 months (you can choose to continue for a second year in Sweden).
The program starts with three weeks of orientation and preparation in Birmingham (UK), Then join a church-based Community Encounter Team reaching out to the neighbourhood through kids and youth work, community projects, building friendships and visitation.
Over the summer months join a short term outreach. Then in September take the plane to Sweden and spend 4 months in Råslätt, an immigrant populated area outside Jönköping. Reach out to needy peoples from different religious backgrounds together with the local church.
Different opportunities include a youth center, public schools, sports, scouts and a second hand-store.
As soon as possible

- A good level of conversational English.
- Willingness to learn.
- No experience needed as full training will be given by experienced leaders
All jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
