Field Accountant (Zambia)

Our team needs a servant-hearted person who can ensure good stewardship of our finances by providing oversight and training for all financial aspects of our ministry.
As soon as possible
2-3 years (full time)
The applicant will need to participate in the 2-month OM Discipleship Programme in Kabwe, Zambia, before beginning with this ministry.
Your responsibilities will involve:
1) Oversee and equip the ministry bookkeepers (who have little/no training in bookkeeping) to effectively fulfill their function.
2) Record and import all financial data (for the whole ministry of OM Zambia) into the OM International financial system (Petra).
3) Assist the Field leader with financial advice, budgets, etc.
4) Prepare and see the OM Zambian books through the annual audit.
All jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
