Communication Facilitator (Nepal)
Nepal is a land of towering mountains, breathtaking beauty, cultural mystique, and abject poverty. It also has one of the fastest-growing churches in the world. It is a country with a story to tell.
OM Nepal is involved in a wide variety of ministries, short-term and long-term, national and international, urban and remote. We are looking for a communications facilitator who will gather stories and photos that tell the stories of our work in Nepal. This includes research, interviews, editing the work of others, writing from scratch, designing layouts, and circulating material through OM’s communication network.

This is not an administrative post! The best way to write stories is to experience them yourself, which sometimes means trekking to remote areas of the country. Adventurousness, flexibility, and a sense of humour are essential. You will also need to be able to write well in English, edit the work of others, stay organized, try new ideas, and work on a multi-cultural team. If you don’t already know how to use Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, you will need to learn. We will help you and video tutorials are available.
All jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
