South Ecuador Team Volunteer (Ecuador)
The church in the south of Ecuador is:
- small, max. 4% evangelical Christians, and in some places non-existent.
- Lacking vision beyond its own walls.
- Surrounded by a people locked in idolatry.
- the KEY to reaching their community!
- but needs support in doing so.
We as OM believe that God is leading us to respond! We want to see the church in Southern Ecuador looking outwards and equipped for evangelism and missions.
As soon as possible
1-2 years (full time)
It will take a team of motivated people working together in different roles:
- Networking. Building relationships with churches and pastors.
- Mobilizing. Encouraging churches to see the need around them.
- Evangelism. Workshops in various forms of evangelism.
- Outreaches in partnership with the local church, especially to the Saraguro people.
- Missions training promotion. Channeling potential missionaries into our training school.
- Mentoring potential missionaries.
- Prayer meetings focused on evangelism and missions.
- Literature distribution oriented towards evangelism and missions

- Growing relationship with God.
- Heart for the lost.
- Willingness to build relationships.
- Team oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of Spanish, or a willingness to learn.
- The attributes of self-motivation, initiative and flexibility.
- Previous experience would be beneficial.
All jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
