You are part of our "Integration Project Traun" (IPT) which is based in the city of Traun (next to Linz). The team is working alongside a local church which has chosen to reach out mainly to immigrant children and their families. Our day-center "i-point" is our ministry base and from there many other vital activities are carried out.
Humanitarian Aid Worker OM EAST
Our ministry, based near Vienna, Austria, is involved in bringing humanitarian aid to Bosnia and to the Roma/gypsy people in Slovakia and Hungary.
We are looking for someone to take over our Relief and Development Department
This person will oversee and manage all of the humanitarian aid that comes in, organize it for shipments to Bosnia, Slovakia and Hungary.
Resource raising for projects (including funds, materials and special equipment).
Additional responsibilities will include keeping the warehouse organized, as well as being involved in the transports. This ministry has a lot of potential for someone with a vision to develop it further.
Journalist/Communications Co-ordinator OM EAST
You can use your communications skills to share what God is doing in EurAsia and voice the needs of forgotten peoples you probably have never heard of.
This position involves providing articles for our team publications and co-ordinating our correspondence, data base management (Petra) and other similar responsibilities. There will be opportunities for you to travel to countries and people groups in our ministry area.
Literature and Multi-Media Project Manager OM EAST
1. Raising money for media projects.

Public Relations Coordinator - OM Austria
You coordinate and manage the area of public relations within OM Austria. If you have a flair for coordination, a passion to mobilize the Austrian church, ideas to develop PR materials and a talent to train staff in communication and PR, then you are the person we need right now!

You may be working on the first Christian book in their language, many of our ministry countries only have half a dozen Christian books total. Our Media department publishes material and our main focus is Eurasia, especially former communist countries.
You work in a team, communicate with the translators and editors layout the book or enter corrections in letters you have never seen before to prepare the document for press.

Short-term Mission personnel manager - OM Austria
As personnel manager "Short-term Mission", you manage and administrate all enquiries of interested participants and supervise processes and advise people before, during and after their mission experience.

Almost 20 years after the fall of the Berlin wall, East Germany still suffers the legacy of communism. Despair is reflected in every aspect of life and many have resigned themselves to a future without hope.
Into this region, OM Germany’s newest outreach team wants to demonstrate and share God’s desire to bring hope and a future through Jesus Christ. The team plans to run an evangelistic youth café, to build relationships and share their lives with young people in the East German city of Halle an der Saale. All team members will receive practical training and discipleship.

Developing relationships through sport. Helping local churches to develop sports ministry and, when there is appropriate experience and skills, doing training.
This ministry is mostly with children and youth. Sports that are popular in Greece are basketball, football (soccer) and volleyball, although there is also some interest in other sports. It has even been possible to do training in sports that are not normally played here, such as baseball.
Team members in this ministry will also be expected to learn greek and have some involvement in other ministries of the local greek church.

University and college students are often highly motivated to learn new skills such as computing, music and foreign languages. Team members could serve the student community and build relationships.

Hungary
American Football player
American Football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. American Football started in 2002 and now there are 36 teams in the country. Come and join a club team and our Sports Ministry with OM Hungary. Relationship you build on your team gives you an excellent, naturally way to reach young men in Hungary with the gospel. You will play with a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through playing along side and helping Hungarians learn your favorite sport.
If you have played at college or even High school level you will be a star player in Hungary and be asked to teach them what you know!
You will have a mentor to help you learn sports ministry, language and culture.
When you are not practicing or playing you will be able to lead English Bible studies with players, teach football in local schools, help church planter with other ministries you are interested in.
American Football coach
American Football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. Over the last 7 years 36 teams have been started. There is a desperate need for coaches who can help. The Hungarian American Football Federation has asked OM Hungary Sports Ministry to find coaches. This is an excellent opportunity to share your faith and life with future leaders of Hungary. Coach in a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through this growing sport.
Coaching experience is helpful with this position.
Training is offered in language and culture.
Besides coaching you can lead English Bible studies for the players.

Baseball Player/coach
Baseball is a growing sport in Hungary but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player playing for them and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry. You will play on the local men's fast pitch baseball team and help them with their youth baseball program. Your ministry will be in partnership with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through baseball.
No coaching experience is required with this position.
You will also have the opportunity to help camps and training of Hungarian National team players.
You will have a mentor/coach to help you learn sports ministry, language and culture.
When you are not playing you will have opportunities to lead English Bible studies with players, teach Baseball in local schools and help your church planter with other ministries you enjoy.
Bus4Life Ministry
A mission outreach opportunity based in Hungary but covering many different Central/Eastern European Countries. Join a mobile outreach bus, help with selling and distributing literature, get involved in creative ministries such as drama, music, painting, etc. or in evangelism or working in a street cafe, work in a mobile movie theater: Joining the Bus4life ministry gives you the opportunity to do all of this. In an adapted former library bus you will travel to different Central/Eastern European Countries, ministering to children and young people, families and older people, people from all walks of life. If you can occasionally skip a shower and sleep a night or 2 on the floor, you can have this hands-on experience of mission work.

Financial Developement Officer
Serve OM Hungary's ministries through fund raising and by maintaining and developing relationships with partners and potential partners. You will work closely with the communications coordinator to produce follow up reports, thank you letters and creative feedback to maintain accountability.
There will be opportunities for you to get involved with the evangelism and church planting ministry.
Global Action Team Leader
We are looking for an individual or a married couple to lead a group of people on OM’s short term training program.
We would give the person opportunity to receive training and orientation before taking on the responsibility of the GA team. This would include getting to know the current OM Hungary team, as well as cultural and language adaptation.
Once the Global Action team is established, you would oversee the team and its involvment in regular effective evangelistic outreach partnership with existing church planting projects, lead the team in training and envisioning the local church for mission, be responsible for the pastoral care of the team and development of team life and also oversee the team’s training programme.
Sports Ministry
Hungarians love sport and sports is a universal language. OM Hungary Sport Ministry is especially involved in Baseball, Softball and American Football but are open to ministry in other sport like Basketball, Rugby, Soccer and others. Join Sports Ministry with OM Hungary to reach the new generation – children and youth – of Hungary with the gospel. Work together with local clubs and church planters to build meaningful relationships through sport. We’re looking for a self motivated, servant hearted person with an eye for detail to perform various accounting, administrative and bookkeeping tasks in the OM Ireland finance office. You’ll be working in a crucial support role, assisting managing cash flow and ensuring good stewardship of our finances. Training Programme "Immersion" Team Leader new!
We are looking for an individual or a married couple to lead a team of people in our training programme called Immersion. The Immersion programme is designed to immerse its participants in God’s word, in ministry, and in Irish Culture. Immersion consists of teaching and training in a classroom environment at OM Ireland’s ministry headquarters, Lacken House. The majority of the Immersion experience will occur away from Lacken House in various villages and towns where the teams will partner with local churches.
Your role will be to ensure that the team is involved in regular effective evangelistic outreach into the local community and region in partnership with other local Christians; lead the team in training and envisioning the local church for mission; be responsible for the pastoral care of the team and development of team life; and also oversee the team’s training programme.

This person will work directly with the OM-Italy Field Leader and the Leadership Team to develop strategic partnerships with churches and ministries in a key city in Italy. The goal of the partnerships will be to facilitate launching a team of four to six team leaders and members as a new City Ministry Team. This team will initiate and carry out on-going outreaches, service projects and ministry alongside the evangelical churches in the city as a part of the OM-Italy strategy to reach the people of Italy with the Gospel of Christ.

Orientation & Assimilation Assistant
This person will work directly with the OM-Italy Field Leader to assist new team members becoming a part of the team and in beginning to take an active role in team life and life in the Italian culture. Documents such as permits of stay, residence permits, and new phone, utilities, etc., as well as possibly locating a new residence are all a part of the needs of new team members. This person will also be responsible for helping the new team members discover the local Italian culture and history and will learn about the local and regional cultures as a part of the role. Regional Co-ordinator (Representative)
The regional co-ordinator's role is to lead OM's representation to local churches and individuals in his/her region of the UK. The role involves taking meetings on behalf of OM, meeting church leaders, helping OMers strengthen relationships with their sending churches and supporters, organizing meetings for visiting speakers and presentation teams, etc.
Short-term missions administrator new!
Each year 200+ people from the UK take part in 'Global Challenge' events - short-term (2 weeks to 3 months) outreaches in every corner of the world. This role involves communicating with those interested in taking part - by phone, email, letter, etc., then processing applications and helping Global Challenge participants with preparation, travel etc. There will be opportunities to go with other team members taking meetings to promote 'Global Challenge' and an opportunity to take part in one Global Challenge outreach each year.
Building good relationships with 'Global Challenge' participants is a key part of this role, so follow-up after their return to the UK will also be part of the role
Software Developer - ICT Carlisle
Developers are needed to work on PETRA, OM's in house, custom developed software package which is used in over 90 locations worldwide and is vital for the stability and upkeep of OM's administration records and financial systems. Student Ministries Co-ordinator
As part of our aim to challenge and teach young people more about Christ we need a student coordinator to link with universities and colleges across the UK. Webmaster
OM UK’s website is an essential means of communicating news, giving information and providing an easy way of giving financially to support OM workers or project appeals. However, the current webmaster is also responsible for other significant areas of OM ministry and these areas have recently taken more of his time.
We now need someone to join the team to work full-time on our website development. Initially this will involve implementing our current website redesign, then working with the communications and financial development departments to provide regular updates.

Youth Leader and Trainer, OM Lifehope
If your passion is sharing the Gospel with teenagers and you already have experience in youth work, OM Lifehope has opportunities for you. Our evangelism teams are involved in leading weekly youth clubs with our partner churches. We need an experienced youth worker to come alongside them to mentor and train them in youth work. Once a year, we also organise "Teens in Missions"(TiM) in the UK. In the planning stages, there are resources and training sessions to prepare for the teenagers. During the mission, there will be orientation and training sessions to be delivered, followed by an outreach programme. All year there are many other opportunities to develop further youth initiatives through our contacts in local secondary schools and community projects.

The Youth Track will equip you to be an effective and committed youth worker while gaining a formal UK qualification: The National Certificate in Christian Youth Work. You will receive high quality and relevant training and experience life in a church-based international team.
After an initial time of orientation and training, you will be placed in a Community Outreach Team where you have an unrivalled opportunity to get hands on involvement in evangelism in the UK and experience life in a diverse multicultural team.
Each week throughout the year you will study with Engage! our partner organization in this programme. It uses interactive training days together, distance learning materials, work with young people and help from a mentor to enable you to learn more about youth work and develop your own understanding and skills. OM Lifehope and Engage! together would set up a suitable youth work placement where you can practice and develop your youth work skills.
