A dying church in Athens is seeking someone to inject life into their tiny, elderly but faithful congregation. Up for the challenge? Be an encouragement to them, and help reconnect the church with the area, drawing locals into relationship with Jesus.
We want you to develop, coordinate and stimulate the area of communication, both to people outside of Greece as well as helping the team in communication within the country.
We are seeking a person with a gift for writing and an enthusiasm for sharing the story of God's work in Greece and the world.
Organise the finances and keep the books for OM Greece! We need someone with a gift for numbers and an organised frame of mind, who is willing to live and work in a pioneering environment.

OM Greece, in partnership with local churches and I-Teams, has a faith goal of starting 5 feeding projects by 2015. These projects offer not only free warm food, and clothing, but a chance for people to find welcome, a listening ear, and the message of Hope that comes from and through Jesus Christ. Two such projects are currently up and running, a third is being started, but we need full time workers to commit to building them up!

You will be coordinating the outreaches which are done in Greece (like Global Challenge and Transform) as well as possible trips organized from Greece, through which we want to expose the Greek Church - and especially the young people - to world mission, both nearby as well as far away.

We are cooperating with churches in Greece to support their youth ministry. Discipling/mentoring youth, as well as teaching others how to do this, while developing young leaders and discovering untapped potential of church youth is to be expected.
American Football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. American Football started in 2002 and now there are 36 teams in the country. Come and join a club team and our Sports Ministry with OM Hungary. Relationship you build on your team gives you an excellent, naturally way to reach young men in Hungary with the gospel. You will play with a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships.
American football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. Over the last 10 years 36 teams have been started. There is a desperate need for coaches who can help. The Hungarian American Football Federation has asked OM Hungary Sports Ministry to find coaches. This coaching position is an excellent opportunity to share your faith and life with future leaders of Hungary. Coach in a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through this growing sport.
Baseball is a growing sport in Hungary, but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry.
All of your ministry will be in partnership with a local church to build meaningful relationships through baseball. You will also have the opportunity to help in sports camps and with the training of Hungarian National team players.

Moldova, Republic of
Local ministry teams work together with Moldovan churches to bring God's love to children who may feel abandoned and unloved. You will have opportunities to participate with a team reaching out to children and young people through Sunday school, kid's clubs, English lessons, youth meetings and summer camps.
Because of the economic situation people leave Moldova to find a job in another country. Many elderly people are left behind with no one caring for them. Apart from the physical needs loneliness is their biggest problem. We are looking for people who have a heart for these people, visit them, help them practically and share the love of Christ with them.
The job involves:
- making regular visits to our projects in Moldova
- establishing and maintaining contact with key donors
- helping department heads to put together relevant reports
- working together with the finance team in OM Moldova to help meet our financial goals and responsibilities.

This is based at the RED International office which is located at the OM UK National Office in Shropshire.
RED International is a sister charity of OM UK with a specific focus on Relief Education and Development projects around the world.
The Development Administrator supports the work of the Development Director who is responsible for the day to day operations and administration of RED International.

Each year 200+ people from the UK take part in short-term mission with OM. Some for just a few weeks on a 'Short Term’ outreach, others for longer. This role involves communicating with those interested in taking part - by phone, email, letter, etc., then processing applications and helping applicants with preparations to go. There will be opportunities to assist in taking meetings to promote short-term mission and to take part in one or two outreaches each year. Key is building relationships.
Developers are needed to work on OpenPetra, an Open Source Software Project initiated by OM (www.openpetra.org). It will eventually replace OM's current in-house software package, Petra, which is used in over 90 locations worldwide and is vital for the stability and upkeep of OM's administration records and financial systems.
This is an opportunity to serve as a System Administrator in OM's International Co-ordinating Team (ICT). The role is to maintain and develop the IT facilities for a busy International office including a number of remote workers. There are many opportunities to investigate new technologies and software that can be used internationally in OM. ICT supports and co-ordinates OM's work in about 100 countries and the System Administrator role is vital for this team to be as effective as possible.
