Possibilities of combining the OM work with studies at a local Bible college.

The regional co-ordinator's role is to lead OM's representation to local churches and individuals in his/her region of the UK.  We currently have regional co-ordinators representing us in only five regions – there is scope for another half a dozen!    The role involves taking meetings on behalf of OM, meeting church leaders, helping OMers strengthen relationships with their sending churches and supporters, organizing meetings for visiting speakers and presentation teams, etc.

Each year 200+ people from the UK take part in 'Global Challenge' events - short-term (2 weeks to 3 months) outreaches in every corner of the world.  This role involves communicating with those interested in taking part - by phone, email, letter, etc., then processing applications and helping Global Challenge participants with preparation, travel etc.    There will be opportunities to go with other team members taking meetings to promote 'Global Challenge' and an opportunity to take part in one Global Challenge outreach each year.

As part of our aim to challenge and teach young people more about Christ we need a student coordinator to link with universities and colleges across the UK. We want to get students interested in short-term mission – how they can make a difference – and we can do that by telling them about the opportunities available to them through seminars, visits to Christian Unions and other groups for young adults.
Our ultimate aim is to provide young people with training in opportunities for short-term mission and to give them a long-term vision for what God is doing across the world with OM.

We need a web strategist to design and implement a plan to get more people to visit our website(s), take some desirable actions, and encourage people to create an ongoing relationship with OM. Working with a dynamic team, you would oversee personnel involved in analytics, SEO, SEM, web development, and content management. We need someone who has some experience as both a marketer and product developer and can bring together web technology, organizational objectives and community (OM’s donors, partners, prospects and competitors).

OM UK’s website is an essential means of communicating news, giving information and providing an easy way of giving financially to support OM workers or project appeals. However, the current webmaster is also responsible for other significant areas of OM ministry and these areas have recently taken more of his time.
We now need someone to join the team to work full-time on our website development. Initially this will involve implementing our current website redesign, then working with the communications and financial development departments to provide regular updates.

Assisting our financial development staff with administration, especially with fundraising from government agencies, trusts, businesses and other organisations.  The work will include researching possible donors, writing funding proposals, keeping records of grant applications, producing reports.  It's behind-the-scenes work which has a huge impact on OM's development and 'mercy' projects worldwide.

Do you enjoy writing stories? Do you want to share what God is doing through your stories? Then the role of Journalist at our Training Centre is for you.  We are looking for a creative writer to produce regular articles about our different ministries at Lifehope.  You will visit our teams, interview team members and local pastors and produce short stories and reports for the web and our publications.

You will feature the work of our current five community outreach teams, some of our specialised teams such as Kids 'n' Things and our Chinese team, our training programmes and our other vital support ministries. You will also have the opportunity to join some of our short-term missions in order to interview some of our short-term participants and write the final report at the end of the mission.

Your office will be based at our Training Centre.  You will be part of OM Lifehope's international community, living and working alongside people from at least 25 different nationalities.

You can use your communications skills to share what God is doing in EurAsia and voice the needs of forgotten peoples you probably have never heard of.
This position involves providing articles for our team publications and co-ordinating our correspondence, data base management (Petra) and other similar responsibilities. There will be opportunities for you to travel to countries and people groups in our ministry area.

OM's standard server (file/print/mail) operating system is an enhanced version of Linux based on CentOS 4.2. Our version includes a simple to use menuing system to aid system administration tasks.We need a technical writer to document changes and new functionality so that users are able to take full advantage of OM's standard server operating system.

Working with a dynamic team, you would oversee personnel involved in analytics, SEO, SEM, web development, and content management. We need someone who has some experience as both a marketer and product developer and can bring together web technology, organizational objectives and community (OM’s donors, partners, prospects and competitors).

OM's International Communications Department is in need of a writer to write materials for marketing, newsletters, web content, and internal news releases that communicate programs and services offered and complies with OM's brand and security standards.

There are many stories and testimonies hidden away in Africa that we want to get out to the rest of the world. The Africa Area Office is looking for people with a heart for Africa, and a desire to give God glory through sharing these stories.
