The Short Term (Global Challenge) Co-ordinator will be organising and helping with the running of short term outreach events in Ireland. They must be able to work with a wide range of churches and in a very multicultural community and team.

At the moment, we have up to 150 people joining us each year for short-term outreach programmes and we see great potential for growth in this area.

We are looking for the right person to work as Short Term Ministry Coordinator. This means being involved in coordinating, training and evangelism in the different short term activities around the country.

Assist in the recruiting, processing and follow up of group and individuals interested in short-term mission trips.

Baseball is a growing sport in Hungary, but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player playing for them, and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry.
You will play on the local mens fast pitch baseball team and help them with their youth baseball program. All of your ministry will be in partnership with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through baseball. You will also have the opportunity to help in sports camps and with the training of Hungarian National team players.

A mission outreach opportunity based in Hungary but covering many different  Central/Eastern European Countries. Join a mobile outreach bus, help with selling and distributing literature, get involved in creative ministries such as drama, music, painting, etc. or in evangelism or working in a street cafe, work in a mobile movie theater: Joining the Bus4life ministry gives you the opportunity to do all of this. In an adapted former library bus you will travel to different Central/Eastern European Countries, ministering to children and young people, families and older people, people from all walks of life. If you can occasionally skip a shower and sleep a night or 2 on the floor, you can have this hands-on experience of mission work.

English teachers are needed in Hungary!
There are  excellent opportunities to teach English, develop friendships and share the Gospel with many who still haven't heard. Join existing opportunities or start your own and come alongside long term missionaries in sharing your faith in this practical way.

OM Zambia hosts a number of outreach teams each year, a LOVE AFRICA Conference (attended by 500-700 people), and a variety of specialized courses.

We need someone with a heart for the least-reached people to organize and oversee these events.

Women's fast Pitch Softball is a growing sport in Hungary but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player playing for them and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry. You will play on the local women's fast pitch softball team and help them  with their youth program. Your ministry will be in partnership with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through softball.
No coaching experience is required with this position.
You will also have the opportunity to help camps and training of Hungarian National team players.
You will have a mentor/coach to help  you learn sports ministry, language and  culture.
When you are not playing you will have opportunities to lead English Bible studies with players, teach Baseball in local schools and help your church planter with other ministries you enjoy.

Serve OM Hungary's ministries through fund raising and by maintaining and developing relationships with partners and potential partners.  You will work closely with the communications coordinator to produce follow up reports, thank you letters and creative feedback to maintain accountability.
There will be opportunities for you to get involved with the evangelism and church planting ministry.

Through the dynamic ministry of OM Turning Point in London, teams are building friendships and sharing the truth about Jesus with people from the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and other parts of Europe.

A desire to encourage and pray with conference particpants is a great bonus to the ministry.

As Short-term Mission personnel manager, you manage and administrate all enquiries from interested people. You supervise processes and advise participants before, during and after their short-term mission experience.
Building good relationships with participants is a key part of this role, so follow-up with them and their churches after their return to Austria will also be part of the role.
You will get opportunities for taking meetings to promote Short-term Mission as well as to take part in one outreach each year yourself.
Other tasks are depending on ability and/or interest: Working in international panels; doing the administration for our short-term mission experiences in Austria; helping to set up training conferences; recruiting people; speaking in churches and youth groups.

France is spiritually one of the poorest countries in Western Europe, with less than 1% evangelical Christians.  Along with our regular outreaches, we want to encourage others to come and reach the many who haven't heard of Jesus Christ.

Do you have good organizational skills? Can you communicate well? Come be part of a team organising short-term outreaches for international participants in French cities.  Be the contact point for the groups asking for an outreach, for the other OM offices & for the French churches. 

You will also be involved in co-ordinating the custom-made outreach logistics (teaching, worship, prayer & practical evangelism training).

The church in the south of Ecuador is:

• small, max. 4% evangelical Christians, and in some places non-existent.

• Lacking vision beyond its own walls.

• Surrounded by a people locked in idolatry.

• the KEY to reaching their community!

• but needs support in doing so.

Hungarians love sport and sports is a universal language. OM Hungary Sport Ministry is especially involved in Baseball, Softball and American Football but are open to ministry in other sport like Basketball, Rugby, Soccer and others. Are you young or young at heart and love to work with children?  AIDSHope is in need of team members with skills and a passion in children's ministry.  These ministries include music, drama, art, sports, dance, IT and discipleship.

The Bus driver will be responsible to take the bus and team to the different venues. Do you have the skills and training for counseling orphans and vulnerable children?  Then we need you at our AIDSHope after-school care program in Mamelodi. 

You would be able to help these kids process trauma, abuse, anger and grief through a variety of child-friendly therapy methods.

A small team makes weekly visits to government-run housing for children and teenagers. The applicant would be in charge of creating games/crafts to share with the children on a limited budget. Through building relationships with continued visits, the goal is to creatively share the gospel during the few hours each week together.

Be part of what God is doing among neglected children in Argentina.
We are seeing God transforming lives in children with BIG needs, especially for love and affection.  We are looking for more people to get involved in this ministry.

We'll be glad to accept people for longer terms as well.

If  you love children and can give lots of smiles, hugs, and high five’s then Bar is a great place to use your love for Christ to reach out to children.  If you enjoy teaching reading and writing lessons, or telling stories that bring the Bible to life for children or like planning and organizing children’s programs and events, then there are unlimited opportunities for ministry in Bar.

Have you had pastoral or Bible school training and have a passion to work with children?  If so, we need you at our AIDSHope after-school care program in Mamelodi.
You would be able to plan the daily children's devotions, give the devotions and assist the other team members as they teach God's word to the children.

Are you a teacher and have a heart for disadvantaged students who need a little extra help academically?  If so we have a place for you in AIDSHope.
Monday through to Thursday, you would be able to teach our after school children, ages 6-18 in a small class environment to give the children the extra help they need to do well in school.  You would also be able to teach the life skills program, Crossroads, in the public schools of Mamelodi to 12/13 year olds.

OM Chile has worked with various Children's homes for over five years.  This is an established ministry that is ready for growth.  This is an opportunity to continue working with the children's homes as well as to develop new opportunities to serve the children through new projects and programs in art, music and sports.

OM Ireland places a strong emphasis on creativity and the arts as a means of transformation within society as well as inspiring people to explore and engage in the truth of the Gospel creatively.

OM Ireland has been developing a wide range of children’s programmes using the creative arts as a means of engaging and exploring the Bible.

Our double decker red bus often becomes the focal point for evangelism in the community and can work in a wide range of locations such as: villages, towns or cities, housing estates, schools, city centres, etc. Our team is also involved in school activities such as RE (Religious education) classes, day retreats, workshops, and multi- media shows.

Come and be involved in many different activities including kids clubs, 45 minute multi- media productions, and much more!

Cooperating with local churches to support their ministry to children. Can include Sunday School, kids clubs, summer camps, vacation bible school/ holiday bible club, training children's workers, helping churches develop new methods for children's ministry. Usually part-time children's work and team member will also be involved in other ministries as well depending on the individual's giftings.

Local ministry teams work together with  Moldovan churches to bring God's love to children who may feel abandoned and unloved. You will have opportunities to participate with a team who reach out to children and young people through sunday school, kid's clubs, English lessons, youth meetings,  and  summer camps.

You also will be part of one or more of these ministries.

We are looking for an ESL teacher with an adventurous streak, to help us pioneer a new church planting ministry. You'll teach English in a  government school, working alongside national staff. Outside of school you'll have opportunities to be involved in evangelism, discipleship, and Community Development.  Conditions will be hard, but the people are friendly and many have never heard the gospel. Will you be the first Jesus-follower they will meet?

Move to Italy in January. Mind, heart, feet and hands are all focused together as you grow in knowledge and faith and put it all into practice. You will join a variety of creative and relational outreach projects such as English chat rooms, kids camps, school programs, marketplace outreaches and sports & arts ministry.  Develop your skills as you impact lives one relationship at a time while deepening your passion for Christ.

Keen to be away from home for a year, learn a foreign language and discover God’s will for your life? Hope 2 Europe is for you! Work with an international team in the UK for five months and Sweden for the next three to six months.

Grasp the tools needed to share the gospel with your neighbour, youth and kids during a three week orientation in Birmingham (UK) and put into practice what you have learnt by joining a church-based Community Encounter Team throughout the UK.

Move to Sweden for the next three to six months.  You will live in Råslätt, a suburb of Jönköping with many immigrants. Reach out to needy peoples from different religious backgrounds together with the local church. The focus in Sweden will be threefold: close to God, close to each other and close to the world. Different opportunities include a youth center, public schools, sports, scouts and a second hand-store.

Keen to be away from home for a year, learn a foreign language and discover God’s will for your life? Hope 2 Europe is for you! Work with an international team in the UK for six months and Switzerland for the next six months.

Grasp the tools needed to share the gospel with your neighbour, youth and kids during a three week orientation in Birmingham (UK) and put into practice what you have learnt by joining a church-based Community Encounter Team throughout the UK.

In January, move to Zurich for the last 6 months. The team is located in the inner city and reaches out to needy people in cooperation with local churches and organisations. Relationship based ministries include a drop-in centre for drug addicts, visiting homes, and a children's club. After you get experience we expect you to take more initiative and responsibility developing your ministry.

OM Panama is looking for “Local Outreach Workers” to join our team!  We are looking for people who have a heart for personal evangelism and for building relationships that point people to Christ here in our beautiful mountain town and the surrounding area.
 
In addition to personal evangelism, there is also a significant need for people to follow up with new believers, encourage them, and help disciple them.  If you have a passion for seeing new believers grow in their faith, then this could be a great fit for you!

Where?  In a remote village along the shores of Lake Tanganyika.

Some of the things you can be sure you will do is children’s ministry, starting a preschool, literacy classes, ministry with ladies and tutoring older school children.

In Mpulungu on the shores of Lake Tanganyika is a school for orphan children.  These little people are in need of teachers who love the Lord and who will love them.

Our Orphan school runs from Grade 0 to 3.

Here at OM Ireland the Creative Arts Ministry Department is all about using our creative, random, crazy, out of the box ideas to share the love of God. We place a strong emphasis on creativity and the arts and we have pioneered a range of programmes using the arts:

• Music, Dance, Drama, Puppets, Ballooning, Visual Arts, Gospel Illusions, Storytelling, Bus Ministry, Training/Workshops

The team members will be encouraged to use their talents and also to learn and develop new ones. Performers will be encouraged to engage in and/or develop community projects. This is a pioneering opportunity, so many of the outreaches will take much initiative on your part. You will have the full support of the Creative Arts Team.

Due to the death of one or both parents, or the struggle of living in poverty, many children who come to our after-school program are delayed emotionally, mentally and physically.  You would work primarily with our 30 after school children in finding the root of their under performance and work with them to promote holistic well being.

We are looking for an assistant leader to a growing skate board ministry in the capital city of Santiago Chile.  You will be giving workshops, building ramps, and working with local youth to train, mentor and disciple new Christians and evangelize those attracted to the program.

If you have a background in coaching sport and would like to use the opportunity of the 2012 Olympics to reach young people in the UK with the love of Jesus, this job is a fit for you!  You will have the chance to lead sports camps during the Olympics season, mentoring and discipling youth as you integrate spiritual truths with the excitement of sports.

If you enjoy sports, youth and sharing the gospel, you will love participating in OM Greece’s sports ministry! We hope to work with local churches to help them develop a sports ministry that will reach out into their communities (several churches have started community centres mostly in deprived areas of the city.  We could also see church plant efforts being supported by a sports person. In Greece soccer, basketball and volleyball are very popular, but there is generally a great interest in sports

Chile has been offering a 9-12 month Program since November 2005.  This is a training program for young people who would like to serve the Lord in missions, but don’t know where they want to go and what they exactly want to do.
The purpose of the program:

• that people will learn more about God, who they are in Christ, and learn more about themselves. We want to give them a mission experience; with on the job training so that they can reach out to the people they meet.

We urgently need youth leaders and/or workers to continue and develop the work with the teenagers at a local Albanian church.

There is currently no evangelical youth ministry in the city of Bar, so this will be an opportunity to start and develop an exciting ministry.

If so, then our Youth Track will equip you to be an effective and committed youth worker while gaining a formal UK qualification: The National Certificate in Christian Youth Work.  Offered in partnership with the “Engage!” organization, you will receive high quality and relevant training on an international team, reaching out to young people in local youth projects, church groups and schools.

Through interactive training days, distance learning materials and mentoring you will learn more about youth work and develop your own understanding and skills, ending up with a nationally recognised qualification to show for it!

Cooperating with churches in Greece to support their youth ministry. Can include youth clubs, summer clubs, outreaches, mercy ministries, community involvement, helping churches develop new methods for youth ministry seeking to facilitate more missional lives. Discipling/mentoring youth, as well as teaching others how to do this, while developing young leaders and discovering untapped potential of church youth is to be expected.

OM Lifehope has an established community development project in an area where more than 90% are Muslim people. The majority of them are from Pakistani background and some from Africa and Bangladesh. Many of them have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. Come and join the team and see the Muslim community reached with the Good News.

OM Lifehope is looking for qualified male and female youth workers to work with an established youth work. You will have regular meetings with the youth, visit their friends, and develop relationships with families. You will also have opportunity to develop the youth work in order to see more impact in the community.

American football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. Over the last 7 years 36 teams have been started. There is a desperate need for coaches who can help. The Hungarian American Football Federation has asked OM Hungary Sports Ministry to find coaches. This coaching position is an excellent opportunity to share your faith and life with future leaders of Hungary. Coach in a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through this growing sport.
Coaching experience is helpful with this position. Besides coaching, you can lead English Bible studies for the players, teach football in the local schools, and help the local church planter with other ministries you enjoy. Training is offered in language and culture.

Are you eager to know about the Chinese people and serve them?  Then come and join our Chinese ministry team.  Here in the UK, there are about 300,000 Chinese with about 97% of them non-believers. With the doors wide open for accepting overseas students, about 80,000 students have come from Mainland China.
 
You will be joining an established ministry team reaching out to Chinese people in the UK including Cantonese speaking residents, Mandarin speaking students from mainland China and English-speaking, British-born Chinese. The team has been helping the Chinese churches with Bible study groups, evangelism training and preaching. You will also be involved in street evangelism and reaching out to univeristy students.

You will get orientation to the Chinese culture and relevant training. Your training will include the general "Toolkit" induction training, an adventure week for team building and leadership development, and regular seminar weeks based at our Training Centre.

Hungary has many opportunities to be involved in church planting. All church planting within OM Hungary takes place under the leadership of a local Hungarian church and working along side a Hungarian church planter.

In partnership with churches, we desire to be a catalyst for counter-cultural change by reaching out to neighbourhoods through church planting(new, organic, missional-incarnational, communities of faith.

Turkish Outreach are looking for people with a passion for Jesus and a heart to see churches planted throughout Turkey.
Our aim is to carry out evangelism, discipling and church-planting in every area of Turkey, to strengthen existing churches, and, where appropriate, carry out development work.

France is spiritually one of the poorest countries in Western Europe, with less than 1% evangelical Christians.  Along with our regular outreaches, we want to encourage others to come and reach the many who haven't heard of Jesus Christ.

Do you have good organizational skills? Can you communicate well? Come be part of a team organising short-term outreaches for international participants in French cities.  Be the contact point for the groups asking for an outreach, for the other OM offices & for the French churches. 

You will also be involved in co-ordinating the custom-made outreach logistics (teaching, worship, prayer & practical evangelism training).

If you love sports and people this is the role for you.  The Sports Ministry Manager needs to equip and mobilize the  coach and sports leaders to transform their community through sports.  The role includes identifying and developing a ministry strategy and co-ordinating the sport's ministry team program.

Italy needs an individual or a married couple to lead OM Italy's short-term missions training program.  This person would receive training and orientation before taking on this responsibility including getting to know the OM Italy team as well as cultural and language adaptation.  Once this training program is launched, this person would manage the team's training program, oversee the ongoing ministry and evangelistic outreaches in partnership with local Italian churches, be responsible for the pastoral care and development of the trainees, and facilitate the integration of trainees into the overarching ministry and vision of OM Italy. 

You have a passion for evangelism among artists and through the arts. Maybe you are a professional artist (eg dancer, visual artist, actor, musician, graphic designer) or maybe you are artistically gifted, even if you do not make a living from your art form. You would like to be on a new OM Arts team in the beautiful cultural capital, Vienna, starting in September 2012. This team will seek to impact Austrian society for Christ by networking Christian artists across the country, encouraging and equipping  those artists to live their whole lives for the gospel and by building  bridges to artists and non-artists who do not yet know Jesus. You will pray with the team for God to use artists and the arts to open blind eyes. You will help churches to think creatively about using the arts in evangelism, and have freedom to have and develop your own specific focus within the arts and to help shape this new ministry.

A mission outreach opportunity based in Hungary but covering many different  Central/Eastern European Countries. Join a mobile outreach bus, help with selling and distributing literature, get involved in creative ministries such as drama, music, painting, etc. or in evangelism or working in a street cafe, work in a mobile movie theater: Joining the Bus4life ministry gives you the opportunity to do all of this. In an adapted former library bus you will travel to different Central/Eastern European Countries, ministering to children and young people, families and older people, people from all walks of life. American football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. Over the last 7 years 36 teams have been started. There is a desperate need for coaches who can help. The Hungarian American Football Federation has asked OM Hungary Sports Ministry to find coaches. This coaching position is an excellent opportunity to share your faith and life with future leaders of Hungary. Coach in a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through this growing sport.
Coaching experience is helpful with this position. Besides coaching, you can lead English Bible studies for the players, teach football in the local schools, and help the local church planter with other ministries you enjoy. Training is offered in language and culture.

Baseball is a growing sport in Hungary, but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player playing for them, and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry.
You will play on the local mens fast pitch baseball team and help them with their youth baseball program. Arts ministry: The ancient Greeks used the arts to communicate important messages. Why should we not do the same, sharing the message of the gospel through the creative arts, music, drama, paintings etc?
This ministry has high development potential in Greece and we are open for people who can be our art pioneers, as the work has not yet been established, although we have some contacts with some Greek Christian artists.
We are not only thinking about producing art but also encouraging and discipling believers to use the arts in communicating the Gospel.

As part of the Global Action Programme you will be the Coordinator of the Intensive Training Programme.  The students are in Chile for nine months and are involved in different ministries (children's work, art, skateboard ministry, homeless). You also will be part of one or more of these ministries.

Coordinating the Global Action (2 year) programme,defining specific tasks, providing training, helping people to find their way in Chile and within the organisation.

Can you spare 6 to 24 months to find out what God can do in and through your life as you help impact the Muslim community of London? We will train you and equip you to work with our long term team in the area. You will participate in one of our church plants and assist in outreach and service to the community.

You will grow spiritually and in Biblical and missions understanding through our discipleship training. You will experience international team living and will learn from the cultures and backgrounds of your teammates. You will learn about Islam and the culture and history of the Middle East. We are looking for an individual or a married couple to lead a group of people on OM’s short term training program.
We would give the person opportunity to receive training and orientation before taking on the responsibility of the GA team. This would include getting to know the  current OM Hungary team, as well as cultural and language adaptation.
Once the Global Action team is established, you would oversee the  team and its involvment in regular effective evangelistic outreach partnership with existing church planting projects, lead the team in training and envisioning the local church for mission, be responsible for the pastoral care of the team and development of team life and also oversee the team’s training programme.

Would you like to be part of a new initiative within OM South Africa.  Diaspora Hope is a new team in Cape Town which seeks to reach out with the love of Christ to immigrants, refugees, foreign students and neighbors from other faiths. This includes street evangelism, discovery Bible groups and discipling young/new believers.

There are great opportunities to work with churches in France as they seek to grow and reach out to their communities.

Many opportunities exist to create friendships through church activities, local associations and language lessons, and to intentionally share the gospel.

You will join a variety of creative and relational outreach projects such as English chat rooms, kids camps, school programs, marketplace outreaches and sports & arts ministry.  Develop your skills as you impact lives one relationship at a time while deepening your passion for Christ.

Keen to be away from home for a year, learn a foreign language and discover God’s will for your life? Hope 2 Europe is for you! Work with an international team in the UK for five months and Sweden for the next three to six months.

Move to Sweden for the next three to six months.  You will live in Råslätt, a suburb of Jönköping with many immigrants. Reach out to needy peoples from different religious backgrounds together with the local church. The focus in Sweden will be threefold: close to God, close to each other and close to the world. Different opportunities include a youth center, public schools, sports, scouts and a second hand-store.

In January, move to Zurich for the last 6 months. The team is located in the inner city and reaches out to needy people in cooperation with local churches and organisations. Relationship based ministries include a drop-in centre for drug addicts, visiting homes, and a children's club. After you get experience we expect you to take more initiative and responsibility developing your ministry.

OM Buenos Aires is working in children's homes giving sport classes to the children, and offering classes in the sports facilities of a partner church to children from the neighborhood, teaching Christian values to them and their families.

Chile has been offering a 9-12 month Program since November 2005.  This is a training program for young people who would like to serve the Lord in missions, but don’t know where they want to go and what they exactly want to do.
The purpose of the program:

• that people will learn more about God, who they are in Christ, and learn more about themselves. We want to give them a mission experience; with on the job training so that they can reach out to the people they meet.

Is it your passion and gift to train, disciple and coach Christians for ministry?
OM Uruguay has developed a four month mission’s training school, called “Entrenamiento de Misiones.” This mission school seeks to train, equip and prepare people who are interested in serving God through cross-cultural mission work.

Our team in Istanbul welcomes you!  Our training programme will prepare you in Turkish language, Muslim apologetics, creative evangelism and team life.  Our vibrant city is a great backdrop for learning the ropes in the Muslim world.

Creative artists are also welcome and there is a separate track for them.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person required to oversee national and international training programs. The candidate will help with the development of program goals and curriculums, will identify and coordinate training needs and opportunities, and will work together with the training team to ensure the successful running of established programs.

Italy needs an individual or a married couple to lead OM Italy's short-term missions training program.  This person would receive training and orientation before taking on this responsibility including getting to know the OM Italy team as well as cultural and language adaptation.  Once this training program is launched, this person would manage the team's training program, oversee the ongoing ministry and evangelistic outreaches in partnership with local Italian churches, be responsible for the pastoral care and development of the trainees, and facilitate the integration of trainees into the overarching ministry and vision of OM Italy.

If so, then our Youth Track will equip you to be an effective and committed youth worker while gaining a formal UK qualification: The National Certificate in Christian Youth Work.  Offered in partnership with the “Engage!” organization, you will receive high quality and relevant training on an international team, reaching out to young people in local youth projects, church groups and schools.

Through interactive training days, distance learning materials and mentoring you will learn more about youth work and develop your own understanding and skills, ending up with a nationally recognised qualification to show for it!
