You may already have merchant marine or navy experience, or you are up for the challenge of practical work on an OM ship. As part of an international crew, your task is to maintain the ship to a high standard, sail on a published schedule and provide security and facilities while in various ports. Missionary Skipper - Lake Tanganyika (Zambia)

Here is an opportunity of a lifetime for a practical, adventure-loving person, who loves Jesus and also loves those who have yet to come to know Him as their saviour.

We need a person who will act as skipper/deck man and be responsible for the maintenance on an 8-man boat. 

The boat will serve as a medical clinic and will visit villages on the shores of Lake Tanganyika once a month on the Zambian side from Tanzania to D.R. Congo border (± 230 km roundtrip visiting ± 11 villages)

Start Date: as soon as possible

1st Engineering Officer (Ships)

An additional 1st Engineering Officer (Reg III/2) is required for the Logos Hope AS SOON AS POSSBILE.  The preference is for someone to join us long term, but any length of time may be helpful.

Please enquire at the Ships Head Office about precise starting dates.

The 1st Engineering Officer is accountable to the Chief Engineering Officer for conducting efficient watch in the machinery spaces whilst at sea, duty watches in port and for the general running and day-to-day functions of the Engine Department.

Chief Engineering Officer (Ships)

A Chief Engineering Officer is required for the Logos Hope, either on a long term basis or rotation basis AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Please enquire at the Ships Head Office for further information on dates and rotation options.

The Chief Engineering Officer is responsible to the Master for the safe and efficient running of all the ships machinery and technical systems, excluding those items of navigational and fire-fighting equipment, which come under the Deck Department.

Sweden :: OM Sweden organized for the very first time a TeenStreet Reunion for the whole Scandinavian region. More than 300 youth from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Faroe Islands gathered together on 27th to 29th January, hosted by a school and a church building in Råslätt, Jönköping, Sweden over a weekend to worship, learn, refocus and reconnect with friends whom they had missed after the last summer spent in Germany.
