Medical - Nursing

Missionary Nurse (preferably Male) - Lake Tanganyika (Zambia)

Medical work is done in mobile medical clinic trips where the team travels by boat into remote villages. Needs are related to : Tropical Diseases. Malnutrition. Malaria. HIV/AIDS. Fishing-related injuries.

Many illnesses are rooted in witchcraft practices. Nurses frequently pray for healing and patients are healed and delivered without medicine being needed.

Medical - Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapist (North Africa) New!

We are in need of an OT to assist local workers in North Africa(local untrained 'Therapists') to better understand the needs of the handicapped child regarding the stimulation of their senses. This would involve evaluating treatment that each child receives and making necessary modifications as well as assisting the local untrained PT to work out goals for each child and help the parents better understand the needs of their child.

International :: Taking participants on a time travel through the past, to the present and into the future, Global Village at TeenStreet Europe 2014 encouraged participants to explore the reality of the Gospel and challenged them to reflect God’s love.
International :: Over 2,300 teens and adults embarked on a time travelling mission in Global Village at TeenStreet Europe this summer.
International :: Between 2-9 August 2014, 4,387 people from more than 30 nations came together in Münster, Germany, for TeenStreet Europe.
International :: This year’s TeenStreet Europe theme was “OPEN,” which refers to how the way to God is always open to us. “God wants us to understand Him better, make deeper experiences with Him, and to enjoy the open, unhindered relationship with Him,” said main speakers Josh and Debs Walker.
International :: During big group teaching times, seminars, workshops and their small groups, the teens at TeenStreet Europe 2014 explored the seven letters to the churches in Revelation chapters 1-3, where they were told, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear what the spirit is saying to the churches,” a reference to Revelation 3:22.
International :: Throughout the TeenStreet Europe 2014 week, 2,575 teens participated in worship during the main hall sessions, sports, dance lessons, fundraising opportunities and more.
International :: Teens at TeenStreet 2014 blessed others through multiple outreach opportunities in the city of Münster, Germany, including a flash mob to raise awareness about human trafficking, an international march through the city and a group of teens giving away flowers with Bible verses attached.
International :: A highlight of the TeenStreet Europe 2014 week was the RAG (Raise and Give) project, which offered opportunities for teens and staff to raise money to support orphans in the Ukraine through OM’s Heritage Project. Among the many organised opportunities for people to give was the RAG Race, which let participants raise support for the number of laps they ran around the site. It raised about 64,000 euros in total; 1,020 racers participated, more than double the number from 2013’s race.
