Our project focuses on disadvantaged rural Muslim communities. Government schools lack qualified English teachers, textbooks and supplies. Poverty prevents teenagers from accessing elite schools or private English classes. Our weekly English clubs give bright, motivated kids an opportunity to learn. Summer programs provide fun, intensive learning experiences.
We are also running professional development seminars for English teachers and teacher-trainees, giving them an opportunity to improve their language-fluency and teaching skills.

OM Uruguay has developed a four month mission’s training school, called “Entrenamiento de Misiones.” This mission school seeks to train, equip and prepare people who are interested in serving God through cross-cultural mission work.

The candidate will help with the development of program goals and curriculums, will identify and coordinate training needs and opportunities, and will work together with the training team to ensure the successful running of established programs.
Training Program Team Leader (Italy)
Italy needs an individual or a married couple to lead OM Italy's short-term missions training program. This person would receive training and orientation before taking on this responsibility including getting to know the OM Italy team as well as cultural and language adaptation. Once this training program is launched, this person would manage the team's training program, oversee the ongoing ministry and evangelistic outreaches in partnership with local Italian churches, be responsible for the pastoral care and development of the trainees, and facilitate the integration of trainees into the overarching ministry and vision of OM Italy.

In Central Asia, entrepreneurs are brimming with ideas and enthusiasm but lack the "know how" to make small businesses work.
OM partners with NGOs (local and international) and local businesses in a variety of small business development programs. We hope to provide viable alternatives to the all-to-common labor migration, which drains skills, resources and creativity away from the local economy.
We urgently need experienced personnel from a business background who can be involved in training, resourcing and mentoring Central Asian entrepreneurs - men and women - through the process of establishing and expanding their own businesses.

The region of Linz is known for its multi ethnic population. OM Austria has an established integration project where more than 90% of the people are Muslim. The majority of them are from Turkish background and some from Afghanistan and Irak. Beside this project there is an emerging network where Christians from various churches, groups and ethnical backgrounds work together to serve immigrants and refugees.
