##FULL## Out of the Comfort Zone Asia 2016 - NEPAL_Kathmandu (2 weeks)

Welcome to the diverse, vibrant and eclectic world of Asia.

Approximately 4.4 billion people, or 60% of all the people in the world, live in this region and is one of the world's most populated places. Major religions include Buddhism Confucianism or Neo-Confucianism, Taoism, Chinese folk religion, Shintoism, Shamanism, Hinduism, Islam and more recently Christianity. With great political diversity, it is shaped by communism, democracies, dictatorships, monarchies and republics. This region has some of the poorest and neediest countries in the world and is prone to many natural disasters include floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, bushfires, typhoons and mudslides. At the same time, the area also contains some of the fastest growing economies in the world.

With some of the world's most unreached people, and millions untouched by the transformational impact of the gospel. East Asia has huge challenges for missions.

Out of the Comfort Zone Asia is a short term mission programme that provides exposure, experience and equips you to take the Good News to Asia. You will first attend the OCZ Asia conference held in Malaysia before stepping out on a 10-day mission trip to Nepal. Participant profile

Come experience a taste of what ministry among some of the least-reached people in one of the hardest-to-reach countries is like. Go trekking and hand out Christian literature to those who may have never heard the name of Jesus. And spend a day amongst Tibetan Buddhists; learning about them and what work amongst them is like. See not only what God is doing in this country, but how you can get involved. Every day will be a new adventure, experience first-hand the needs of the Nepalese and the variety of ways that OM Nepal team members are serving here. Be prepared to learn, be flexible, and be open to God changing your life.
