Out of the Comfort Zone Asia 2016 - PHILIPPINES_Manila (3  weeks)

Welcome to the diverse, vibrant and eclectic world of Asia.

Approximately 4.4 billion people, or 60% of all the people in the world, live in this region and is one of the world's most populated places. Major religions include Buddhism Confucianism or Neo-Confucianism, Taoism, Chinese folk religion, Shintoism, Shamanism, Hinduism, Islam and more recently Christianity. With great political diversity, it is shaped by communism, democracies, dictatorships, monarchies and republics. This region has some of the poorest and neediest countries in the world and is prone to many natural disasters include floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, bushfires, typhoons and mudslides. At the same time, the area also contains some of the fastest growing economies in the world.

With some of the world's most unreached people, and millions untouched by the transformational impact of the gospel. East Asia has huge challenges for missions.

Out of the Comfort Zone Asia is a short term mission programme that provides exposure, experience and equips you to take the Good News to Asia. You will first attend the OCZ Asia conference held in Malaysia before stepping out on a 17-day mission trip to Philippines.
