GAP Italy 2010 - FALL (Price Reduced!!) - 3-Month Training and Ministry (Italy)
The goal of ReCreate! is for the team member to connect with and engage Italians with the Christian world view and compassion where Italians do holidays and recreation. It is also an opportunity to explore the deep love and grace of God through mentoring, training, personal discovery and culture in outdoor excursions.
Team members who join ReCreate! will experience training, group life, and experience the culture and outdoors, and the transforming process of becoming disciples who are "all for Him." Learn about the Italian culture and people through training and interaction and ways and reasons to relate to the 62 different ethnic groups that make up Italy.
Participants will be training in discipleship and deeper life programs, working in evangelism and have practical experience with ministry as well as work with local Italian churches.
We are looking for participants who are teachable, in good physical health, between the ages of 18 and 29 and ready to serve God in a creative way. Spiritual maturity is definitely a plus and those desiring to deepen their walk with God will be challenged!
Some knowledge of Italian is helpful but not required.
Team members will live in OM Housing in Torre Pellice or with a local family.
Meals will be taken with the team or at their individual homes.
Participants are asked to provide their own way to TORINO (TURIN), ITALY. We will be happy to collect them at the airport or train station there. All ground transportation will be covered in the program.
Participants need to get to Torino, Italy (Turin). We can collect them from the airport there.
Participants need to be in generally good health because of the walking and endurance that they will need for the outreaches.
Please check with sending country's requirements for Italy. This outreach is designed to fit into a 3-month tourist visa requirement.
