Short-term Missions Trip
New Year Outreach, 8 days (Ukraine)
Helping village churches to establish Sunday schools after the summer programmes. Sharing the joy of Christmas with people in houses for children with special needs. Bringing hope to Ukrainian children in orphanages.
We will encourage some village churches in their effort to establish a regular Sunday school after last evangelistic summer camps.
We will visit houses for children with special needs and possibly some other institutions.
We will visit some orphanages in the Vinnitsa region, bringing gifts for the children and doing Christian programs for them, using stories, songs, drama, games, sports, puppets and other tools.
You will join our team in Vinnitsa in their ministry. You will participate in Sunday school ministry at villages using various skills, such as stories, songs, drama, games, sports, puppets, etc. Last summer our team led evangelistic camps in those villages. Now the local church is trying to establish a regular Sunday school for them. Our team is helping with training and coaching their leaders. You will also participate in houses for children with a special need with the same tools and at some orphanages.
Be flexible, as the program can sometimes change on short notice.
Any person with a heart for God may participate, including children and teenagers. Having experience in various kind of ministry to children and teenagers would be a great asset but is not a necessary requirement.
