Transforming Gypsy Community - KidsGames ## FULL ## (Romania)
Let's demonstrate the love of God to the Roma kids of Romania.
We will stay two weeks in the heart of a Roma/Gypsy community taking part in projects, using games and sports to bless the community and to be a light in a dark and needy place.
Between an Opening and a Closing Ceremonies we spend time playing games and sports, sharing creatively the Bible lessons.
Flexible, with initiative, ready to serve, able to hug and play with kids.
We will stay in a Roma village, either in tents or with Roma families. Toilet facilities may be primitive and shower facilities may be primitive and/or limited. There may not be laundry facilities.
We will provide all meals in partnership with the local church and may have a rotating "kitchen help" schedule for you to be involved in.
You will arrange your travel to and from Romania. We will arrange travel to/from the airport and within the country.
You will arrange your travel to and from Romania ("Gara de Nord" Train Station). How to find us: Details will be given later, to arrive from the airport to "Gara de Nord" Train Station. We recommend arriving to any of the Bucharest airports Baneasa or Otopeni.
We will be doing physical work and kids ministry in the heat of the summer and the dust of the village, possibly sleeping in tents, eating as a group, and ask that you be in good health, able to participate with us. (please let us know of any allergies/conditions during your application process)
Those from countries within the EU will not need a visa, others will need to check with their embassies for details.
