Short-term Missions Trip
Challenge into Missions in Moldova - CiM Fall Option (Moldova, Republic of)
OM Moldova works in partnership with the churches of Moldova to train and disciple young people; and to continue sharing the gospel effectively in unreached areas of this imporverished country.
Challenge into Missions (CiM) is a practical 10 week missions training program, which provides a greater vision for world mission through theory as well as practical involvement in Mission in Moldova.
The course is structured with several weeks at the OM Training Centre in Chisinau, interspersed with hands-on outreach ministries in villages where many have never heard the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Teams will work together with churches in different towns and villages in Moldova.
As well as basic discipleship, deepened commitment to Christ, character development and relational skills, this course will give the student an exciting taste of what it means to live and serve as a cross-cultural missionary. Other components of the course include: Bible study, prayer for the world, practical preparation for outreach and evangelism, how to present the gospel by sharing your testimony, drama, puppets and sketchboard, how to serve in the context of a team.
Challenge into Missions is for young people, 18 years and older, who have a desire to know God better and to make Jesus known to the world. It is for those who would like to experience a real 'taste' of mission, in order to discern better how God wants them to be involved in missions at home or abroad. From the very beginning it is a cross-cultural experience as foreign students will live, learn and serve together with Moldovans throughout the program.
