Short-term Mission Trips - by Date

Participant will travel with the dance team and Bill Drake band to record stories and events.

You will be working with an international team but also together with a local church in running a holiday club. Our aim is that this outreach will give the ongoing ministry - in a socially needy district of Greifswald - a boost. We will run a one week programme with the kids - do various activities, games, sports and creative stuff. Besides giving also a spiritual input, we will also seek to establish relationships to the parents.
Our main goals are: Being a light in this neighbourhood, introducing Jesus to the kids and their parents, providing a fun time for kids who usually don’t have many highlights, raising the self esteem of the kids, supporting the kids to develop skills like concentration, coordination, etc.
Since the circus theme worked last year as an excellent tool to reach our goals we will continue to run a circus theme programme in 2012.
With us you can get involved in evangelism, kids ministry, prayer walking, social action, building friendships, etc.

One week intensive evangelistic campaign and cross-cultural training program geared to help the followers of Christ to better share their faith.

Come and spend four weeks with a small international team travelling and camping in various areas around Belgium. You will use your creative gifts, whether it be visual art, dance, music or drama to work with local Christians, sharing your faith through exhibitions, conversations, street performances and prayer. There will be a focus on village outreach linking in with local community events where possible and at the same time encouraging local Belgian Christians/Churches in their work. There will also be specific times during the outreach for prayer, creating, and listening to God.

The church of Châteaudun(south-west of Paris) is mobilising for a week of evangelism in its community. They would love to have your help! Come and work side by side with French believers, taking the gospel out into the streets, where there is a large Turkish poulation.

Through friendship, creative evangelism, door to door and other tools we want to help local churches to reach out their neighborhood.

The outreach will start with two days evangelism campaign in Manakara - a town in the south-east -Then after participants will join small teams to one of the three rural communities.

We work with a local church in the town of Svilengrad in Bulgaria, which is on the border with Turkey and Greece. It is a small group of believer that are trying to reach their community. We will be accommodated by the church people in their homes. We will visit other village churches in the region during our time there.

Chipata is a Zambian town on the border of Malawi – this is the headquarters for Islam in Zambia, and their influence is spreading throughout Zambia. OM Zambia has a couple of missionaries based in this town, who use friendship evangelism and teaching of skills to reach Muslims in this town.

A three month trek through southern Africa, assisting at various ministries that have been hand picked for maximum impact and discipleship opportunities.

"Back in the day" OMers had to sell books, to get money, to eat. Sounds extreme? It is. We will be embarking on a challenge that makes your faith real, but we won't be selling books. Our goal is to serve the church and our God in a region of France with over 240,000 inhabitants and only TWO evangelical churches. Sounds extreme? It is.

In cooperation with local church we are going to run fine arts exhibition in Prague, the center of artistic events. We want to talk with people and invite them for additional evangelistic programmes. The S.T.E.P (Short Term Exposure Program) is a unique opportunity for young people to serve God on board the ship.

In the Adventure Team we do youth work, visit churches, evangelise on the streets, work with children and will be involved in whatever the church is doing at that moment.

Programme:

• Evangelism and sight-seeing in Santiago, Valparaiso and Viña del Mar

• Adventure in Pucón and Viña (body-boarding, rafting, mountain-biking, climbing a volcano)
