Programas de Entrenamiento en el Campo
Muchas de las personas que se unen a OM no han tenido entrenamiento previo en el ministerio, y les gustaría participar de un entrenamiento misionero al mismo tiempo que se involucran en un programa. Todas estas oportunidades tienen un módulo de entrenamiento que es relevante a las oportunidades de ministerio en el contexto local. El currículo y el tiempo que dura el entrenamiento varía. Algunos equipos tienen la estructura de un centro de entrenamiento misionero, con tiempo en el aula de clases y tiempo para ministerio; y para otros equipos, el entrenamiento es menos estructurado y se lo acomoda individualmente. Las oportunidades de entrenamiento misionero incluyen aspectos de aprendizaje del idioma, aprendizaje de otras creencias, historia de las misiones,crecimiento espiritual, comunicaciones, viviendo y sirviendo transculturalmente, compartiendo tu fe, etc.
