The OM- Team has taken over leadership and staffing of the Kids ministry “Insel Arche” (Island Arc). It is hosted and financed by a small Methodist church and helps children in poor neighbor hoods do home work, have a warm meal and play in a safe family environment. It has a Christian profile but welcomes children from many different nationalities and religious backgrounds.
By now a solid partnership has developed.

As Human Resources Administrator, you work within the Corporate Service Department of OM Austria to maintain payroll, benefits, and personnel details for the staff of OM Austria and our workers abroad which are employed through us.

You will coordinate and manage the visual and written media within OM Austria. We have wonderful stories to tell, but need someone with the passion and skills to help us to get our stories out to the rest of the world. We need you to help us develop useful media tools that will communicate effectively to raise awareness and mobilise workers and resources.

As Short-term Mission personnel manager, you manage and administrate all enquiries from interested people. You supervise processes and advise participants before, during and after their short-term mission experience.
Building good relationships with participants is a key part of this role. Follow-up with them and their churches after their return to Austria will also be part of the role.
You will get opportunities for taking meetings to promote Short-term Mission as well as to take part in one outreach each year yourself.
Other tasks are depending on ability and/or interest: Working in international panels; doing the administration for our short-term mission experiences in Austria; helping to set up training conferences; recruiting people; speaking in churches and youth groups.

We are looking for the right person to work as Short Term Ministry Coordinator. This means being involved in coordinating, training and evangelism in the different short term activities around the country.

It's an Intensive Training Program with the goal of giving you a taste and experience of Spanish culture, making friends, being stretched in new ways, spiritually, mentally and physically.  At the same time you will be helping to start new churches in a very touristic but spiritually needy country,do social work,street preaching in Madrid,  working, learning & living in a team situation (in a house with a garden, near the Atlantic Ocean).

Although France is spiritually one of the poorest countries in Western Europe, more and more French people are interested in being involved in missions around the world.

Come and share the work of OM in churches around France. Help motivate French youth and adults to move out of their comfort zone.

France is spiritually one of the poorest countries in Western Europe, with less than 1% evangelical Christians.  Along with our regular outreaches, we want to encourage others to come and reach the many who haven't heard of Jesus Christ.

Do you have good organizational skills? Can you communicate well? Come be part of a team organising short-term outreaches for international participants in French cities.  Be the contact point for the groups asking for an outreach, for the other OM offices & for the French churches. 

You will also be involved in co-ordinating the custom-made outreach logistics (teaching, worship, prayer & practical evangelism training).

Translating a variety of documents from English to French: articles for OM websites, training materials, recruiting flyers, etc. This work could be done from home.

Arts ministry: The ancient Greeks used the arts to communicate important messages. Why should we not do the same, sharing the message of the gospel through the creative arts, music, drama, paintings etc?
This ministry has high development potential in Greece and we are open for people who can be our art pioneers, as the work has not yet been established, although we have some contacts with some Greek Christian artists.
We are not only thinking about producing art but also encouraging and discipling believers to use the arts in communicating the Gospel.

Coordinator of Short Term Teams, Church Teams, and other Mission outreaches.  You will be coordinating the outreaches which are done in Greece (like Global Challenge and Transform) as well as possible trips organized from Greece, through which we want to expose the Greek Church - and especially the young people - to world mission, both nearby as well as far away.

If you enjoy sports, youth and sharing the gospel, you will love participating in OM Greece’s sports ministry! We hope to work with local churches to help them develop a sports ministry that will reach out into their communities (several churches have started community centres mostly in deprived areas of the city.  We could also see church plant efforts being supported by a sports person. In Greece soccer, basketball and volleyball are very popular, but there is generally a great interest in sports

American Football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. American Football started in 2002 and now there are 36 teams in the country. Come and join a club team and our  Sports Ministry with OM Hungary. Relationship you build on your team gives you an excellent, naturally way to reach young men in Hungary with the gospel. You will play with a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through playing along side and helping Hungarians learn your favorite sport.
If you have played at college or even High school level you will be a star player in Hungary and be asked to teach them what you know!
You will have a mentor to help  you learn sports ministry, language and culture.

When you are not practicing or playing you will be able to lead English Bible studies with players, teach football in local schools, help church planter with other ministries you are interested in.

Baseball is a growing sport in Hungary, but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player playing for them, and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry.
You will play on the local mens fast pitch baseball team and help them with their youth baseball program. All of your ministry will be in partnership with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through baseball. You will also have the opportunity to help in sports camps and with the training of Hungarian National team players.

A mission outreach opportunity based in Hungary but covering many different  Central/Eastern European Countries. Join a mobile outreach bus, help with selling and distributing literature, get involved in creative ministries such as drama, music, painting, etc. or in evangelism or working in a street cafe, work in a mobile movie theater: Joining the Bus4life ministry gives you the opportunity to do all of this. In an adapted former library bus you will travel to different Central/Eastern European Countries, ministering to children and young people, families and older people, people from all walks of life. If you can occasionally skip a shower and sleep a night or 2 on the floor, you can have this hands-on experience of mission work.

Hungary has many opportunities to be involved in church planting. All church planting within OM Hungary takes place under the leadership of a local Hungarian church and working along side a Hungarian church planter.

English teachers are needed in Hungary!
There are  excellent opportunities to teach English, develop friendships and share the Gospel with many who still haven't heard. Join existing opportunities or start your own and come alongside long term missionaries in sharing your faith in this practical way.

Use evangelism of all kinds and discipleship skills to help an Hungarian Church Planter in his ministry.

Women's fast Pitch Softball is a growing sport in Hungary but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player playing for them and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry. You will play on the local women's fast pitch softball team and help them  with their youth program. Your ministry will be in partnership with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through softball.
No coaching experience is required with this position.
You will also have the opportunity to help camps and training of Hungarian National team players.
You will have a mentor/coach to help  you learn sports ministry, language and  culture.
When you are not playing you will have opportunities to lead English Bible studies with players, teach Baseball in local schools and help your church planter with other ministries you enjoy.

We are looking for someone who can help our team make a greater impact in Hungary by ensuring we have good IT systems and support.  Please come and help us by providing IT oversight and development, give advice in planning, achieving and maintaining IT solutions and keep up-to-date with current IT developments.

Serve OM Hungary's ministries through fund raising and by maintaining and developing relationships with partners and potential partners.  You will work closely with the communications coordinator to produce follow up reports, thank you letters and creative feedback to maintain accountability.
There will be opportunities for you to get involved with the evangelism and church planting ministry.

We are looking for an individual or a married couple to lead a group of people on OM’s short term training program.
We would give the person opportunity to receive training and orientation before taking on the responsibility of the GA team. This would include getting to know the  current OM Hungary team, as well as cultural and language adaptation.
Once the Global Action team is established, you would oversee the  team and its involvment in regular effective evangelistic outreach partnership with existing church planting projects, lead the team in training and envisioning the local church for mission, be responsible for the pastoral care of the team and development of team life and also oversee the team’s training programme.

Hungarians love sport and sports is a universal language. OM Hungary Sport Ministry is especially involved in Baseball, Softball and American Football but are open to ministry in other sport like Basketball, Rugby, Soccer and others. Join Sports Ministry with OM Hungary to reach the new generation – children and youth – of Hungary with the gospel. Work together with local clubs and church planters to build meaningful relationships through sport. Whether you have extensive sport and coaching experience or just love to play, if you have a passion for sport and want to learn to use that in ministry this could be the place for you!

OM Ireland places a strong emphasis on creativity and the arts as a means of transformation within society as well as inspiring people to explore and engage in the truth of the Gospel creatively.

OM Ireland has been developing a wide range of children’s programmes using the creative arts as a means of engaging and exploring the Bible.

Our double decker red bus often becomes the focal point for evangelism in the community and can work in a wide range of locations such as: villages, towns or cities, housing estates, schools, city centres, etc. Our team is also involved in school activities such as RE (Religious education) classes, day retreats, workshops, and multi- media shows.

Come and be involved in many different activities including kids clubs, 45 minute multi- media productions, and much more!

The Food Services Coordinator will work with the Director of Conferences and Events to plan and provide meals for special events, conferences held on the OM Ireland property.  This would include cooking for or finding hired help to cook for individual guests and larger groups of Christian workers attending conferences, meetings or training sessions.
 You will be asked to plan, prepare and serve meals for groups from 2 to 100.
Planning menus, shopping, cooking, and showing special care for guest with particular dietary needs will be utilizing your practical gifts to bless OM and our God.

OM Ireland’s Immersion programme is designed to immerse its participants in God’s word, in ministry, and in Irish Culture.  Immersion consists of teaching and training in a classroom environment at OM Ireland’s ministry headquarters, Lacken House, where participants will be instructed in a wide range of topics including evangelism, Bible study, apologetics, spiritual gifts, and much more!  The majority of the Immersion experience will occur away from Lacken House where Immersion teams will live and serve in villages and towns with partner churches throughout Ireland, doing various types of ministries including organising kids clubs, working in Christian book stores, being involved in sports ministry, organising women’s bible studies, leading a youth group and more.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be in charge of the up keep and maintenance of the OM Ireland property including all buildings and grounds.  The five acre property consists of the Main House with 5 guest rooms, 3 Chalets, and a 2-story Office Block. This person should be task oriented with a servant’s heart… and passionate about practical work for the Lord.

You will use your management and leadership skills to oversee the operations department to ensure smooth running, effective usage and further enhancement of the Lacken House property, the headquarters of OM Ireland.

Here at OM Ireland the Creative Arts Ministry Department is all about using our creative, random, crazy, out of the box ideas to share the love of God. We place a strong emphasis on creativity and the arts and we have pioneered a range of programmes using the arts:

• Music, Dance, Drama, Puppets, Ballooning, Visual Arts, Gospel Illusions, Storytelling, Bus Ministry, Training/Workshops

The team members will be encouraged to use their talents and also to learn and develop new ones. Performers will be encouraged to engage in and/or develop community projects. This is a pioneering opportunity, so many of the outreaches will take much initiative on your part. You will have the full support of the Creative Arts Team.

We are looking for volunteers with a range of experience from amateur to professional – musicians, script writers, theatre directors, actors, puppeteers, dancers, storytellers, magicians, clowns, etc.

The Programme Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support for all teams joining OM Ireland. He/She should be gifted in developing connections between people and organizations, self-motivated, detail oriented, and feel called to minister to and mentor missionaries as they work in the field.

The Short Term (Global Challenge) Co-ordinator will be organising and helping with the running of short term outreach events in Ireland. They must be able to work with a wide range of churches and in a very multicultural community and team.

At the moment, we have up to 150 people joining us each year for short-term outreach programmes and we see great potential for growth in this area.

We are looking for a Vehicle Fleet Coordinator to look after our fleet of 20 plus vehicles. You will be responsible for the regular maintenance of the fleet as well as any associated paper work (such as insurances, and scheduling repairs). We are looking for people to minister specifically to the Eritrean immigrants that have settled in Birmingham and need the gospel.

Do you have a passion to share God’s love in a local community through sports? Do you have a heart for Muslim people and youth? Birmingham is known for its multi ethnic population. OM Lifehope has an established community development project where more than 90% of the people are Muslim. The majority of them are from Pakistani background and some from Africa and Bangladesh. Many of them have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. You can join the team to see a Muslim community reached with the Good News of Jesus.

OM Lifehope is seeking an experienced Football coach to work with Muslim boys. We are already working with the youth through regular youth clubs. You will have an opportunity to coach boys, build relationships with them and share the Good News with them. You will also be able to organize tournaments and take teams to attend local tournaments.

Can you spare 6 to 24 months to find out what God can do in and through your life as you help impact the Muslim community of London? We will train you and equip you to work with our long term team in the area. You will participate in one of our church plants and assist in outreach and service to the community.

This role will require the conceptualisation and production of materials to effectively communicate OM's marketing and communications strategies using a wide range of media - through web, print, and multimedia. You will join a variety of creative and relational outreach projects such as English chat rooms, kids camps, school programs, marketplace outreaches and sports & arts ministry.  Develop your skills as you impact lives one relationship at a time while deepening your passion for Christ.

Move to Sweden for the next three to six months.  You will live in Råslätt, a suburb of Jönköping with many immigrants. Reach out to needy peoples from different religious backgrounds together with the local church. The focus in Sweden will be threefold: close to God, close to each other and close to the world. Different opportunities include a youth center, public schools, sports, scouts and a second hand-store.

In January, move to Zurich for the last 6 months. The team is located in the inner city and reaches out to needy people in cooperation with local churches and organisations. Relationship based ministries include a drop-in centre for drug addicts, visiting homes, and a children's club. After you get experience we expect you to take more initiative and responsibility developing your ministry.

You will feature the work of our current five community outreach teams, some of our specialised teams such as Kids 'n' Things and our Chinese team, our training programmes and our other vital support ministries. You will also have the opportunity to join some of our short-term missions in order to interview some of our short-term participants and write the final report at the end of the mission.

The training department of OM International Human Resource Services develops, oversees and facilitates appropriate training for work roles and personal development for all its staff. The online learning developer will work with the other training professionals in the department to extend the e-learning capacity to meet OM needs. Currently, an online learning management tool (Moodle) is being used, and it is expected that other e-learning tools will be implemented in the future.

We are a vibrant, growing, dynamic OM field seeking a motivated and focused leader-manager for our personnel and member care team. The heartbeats of our field are evangelism, discipleship and training. You will be releasing and helping others on the frontline of mission, by managing people, applications, visas, interviews, appraisals, re-entry, record keeping, policy and procedures.

The regional co-ordinator's role is to lead OM's representation to local churches and individuals in his/her region of the UK.  We currently have regional co-ordinators representing us in only five regions – there is scope for another half a dozen!    The role involves taking meetings on behalf of OM, meeting church leaders, helping OMers strengthen relationships with their sending churches and supporters, organizing meetings for visiting speakers and presentation teams, etc.

OM Lifehope is looking for qualified social worker to work in a socially deprived area where the majority of people are Muslim. You will have opportunity to work with immigrants and help them in finding work, filling out official papers and other practical needs they have. Developers are needed to work on OpenPetra, an Open Source Software Project initiated by OM (www.openpetra.org). It will eventually replace OM's current in-house software package, Petra, which is used in over 90 locations worldwide and is vital for the stability and upkeep of OM's administration records and financial systems.

OM Lifehope is looking for qualified male and female youth workers to work with an established youth work. You will have regular meetings with the youth, visit their friends, and develop relationships with families. You will also have opportunity to develop the youth work in order to see more impact in the community.

Your IT / Communication skills are needed in one of the most atheistic countries in the world. We are looking for an IT administrator who would be able to develope and update our web site, create promotional materials, write articles, and be involved in our presentations.

The Communication Officer takes care of the communication about the work of OM Romania, in order to inform supporters and encourage people to pray, give and go out as well.  The Communication Officer needs to search for opportunities to promote OM Romania to the rest of the world, along with sharing the international work of OM within Romania itself. Like all other jobs in OM, the work of the Communication Officer is unpaid: finances for livelihood are to be provided through a personal network of supporters.

Responsible for human resources for the OM Romania field including personnel functions, staffing needs, member care, policy and compliance. Experience in cross-cultural living and in counseling couples would be a great asset.
We are looking for a mature couple or single who can offer pastoral care, spiritual guidance and personal encouragement to OM team members. Requirements: First 3 months will focus on language learning and cultural adaption.

You are most welcome to join our international finance team that handles financial information of our relief activities and community development projects in different countries of the world. You will have a very important support role in our desire to make a significant impact in struggling communities. It would be ideal if you have accounting background and/or experience, but if you haven't, yet you're  a person who likes to work with numbers and enjoy handling details, you will get good training from us. Basic Microsoft Office computer skills are essential, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel especially useful to be efficient and effective in your work. 

You will coordinate to develop strategies and structures for effective communication of our corporate identity, purpose and goals, together with our communications team, and identify, create and maintain suitable/useful communication media/tools (audio, visual, print, written) for all stakeholders in the organisation. Your tasks could include:management of raw information and other resources from the fields, journalistic writing and editing of articles and short stories in English, ongoing communications with the fields and home offices of partner organisations, conceptualizing promotional activities, expanding and maintaining donor relationships, mobilising workers and other resources.

DisTincT is OM Sweden’s Discipleship Training Team.  OM Sweden’s mission is to motivate, equip and send people to transform lives and communities in Sweden and the world. 

Sweden is one of the most secular countries in the world.  Religion has little or no influence on the daily life of the average Swede and how they relate to the world around them. However, recent trends seem to show that Swedes are again seeking for some sort of spirituality.

After the first 6 months there will be opportunities to continue with the outreach teams, work together with the office team, or assist a local church as you are led by God.  It is our desire to ensure that all our staff have continued training as they continue their time with us.
Commitment length: 6 to 12 months

Use your financial skills to make a significant impact in the lives of struggling communities in different countries of the world. As our Finance Manager, you’ll be involved in overseeing budgets and reporting for projects and our head office and assisting project managers in reporting outcomes to donors. As a key element of our project management team, you’ll be one of the first to hear of the great things and stories of lives impacted through our projects.

You are most needed with your knowledge and experience to ensure the fiscal accuracy and responsibility of the organisation doing relief and community development projects in struggling communities. As you evaluate financial statements required for good quality reporting in managerial, organisational and institutional levels, you'll be exposed to other countries, cultures, currencies and peoples which are probably outside of your comfort zone. Help us improve our accounting systems and auditing standards and be part of making a significant impact in peoples' lives in this crucial support role.

We are looking for a person to help Swedish people find their fit in world missions by providing administrative support in a busy personnel department.  If you like working with people, are comfortable with communication by phone, email and social media, then we would love to talk to you about serving with OM Sweden.

You are needed to support the International Office to take care of its workers, comply with local and international employment laws, organise and maintain the personnel department tasks. You will have an office team of workers coming from different countries and you will communicate/coordinate with field workers and partner organisations in different countries on personnel matters. You will prepare and welcome new workers joining the International Office and usher them through employment-and-residency-requirements-lane.

You will be responsible for the coordination of OM Sweden’s Discipleship Training Team programme (DisTincT) as well as training events for the Field (e.g. The Mentoring Clinic) together with the Field Training Facilitator.
You will work closely with the FTF as well as with the Field leader and the Head of Personnel.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:-

• The coordination of speakers and other guests of training.
• The coordination of the DisTincT programme. 
• To help coordinate and run Field training events.
• Assist in the coordination of orientation programmes for outreaches and DisTincT.
• You will also work in connection with the Personnel Department with regard to those joining the department, to insure their smooth transition to the field.

Our Fundraiser and Project Manager needs you at our international office as a structured yet flexible assistant in fundraising, project management as well as administrative tasks. You will gather, write, evaluate and efficiently manage information about relief and community development projects in different countries of the world, so company office and field workers get documents and information they need on time, and donors including governments and institutions are well updated of the progress of the projects.

You want to capture scenes, images and events in powerful words and share to the world about peoples, places and projects. Impact lives and raise awareness through the stories you write! Either work in our International Office or in any other location, our teams will supply you with written accounts and pictures of what is happening in their communities. You could be travelling to countries outside of your comfort zone.

Hope for Zurich (former GAZ) is a training and outreach programme focused on city ministries in an european context. Ministries will be: reaching out to marginalised people such as lonely people, immigrants, addicted people & prostitutes etc. and spending time with them. We work in a network. You will live in the city and be trained and mentored for your ministry.
