Moldavia :: Ion lost his eyesight at age seven. Now he is 43 and has been included in one of OM Moldova’s elderly care centres, where he recently came to faith. Through a project of OM’s literature ministry he received an audio-Bible on an easy-to-use portable player, so now for the first time he can engage with the Word of God himself.
Moldavia :: With their new hats, warm winter boots and other items of clothing these two sisters are better equipped to face the harsh cold of Moldovan winters. They are just two of 900 children from poor families that received warm clothes through OM Moldova’s winter relief projects this year. Other projects provided food parcels and firewood for those in desperate need.
Moldavia :: Ion’s wife recently died from cancer. Now he brings up his two-year-old daughter Elisea by himself. Moldavia :: Two Moldovan village boys are heading home on a horse-drawn sledge with the gifts they have received through one of OM Moldova’s winter projects: new shoes for themselves and a sack of flour for their family. Other projects provided winter clothes, food parcels and firewood for those in desperate need.
Moldavia :: A Bus4Life worker explains the message of the Bible to a visitor. When the Bus4Life visited Moldova in November 2014, the literature displayed inside drew a lot of interest and ignited many discussions. As on previous visits, OM Moldova noted there was a special interest in Bibles.
Moldavia :: During its visit to Moldova in November 2014, the Bus4Life also carried a bouncy castle and a trampoline. As queues of excited children were forming to use these, the Bus4Life team used the opportunity to talk to parents. The visit of the bus brought a spirit of celebration to the villages and changed many people’s perception of the local churches hosting it.

Moldavia :: This lady was commonly known as ‘The Crying Lady’ - broken by loneliness and hopelessness. The local church, which runs one of OM Moldova’s Elderly Care Centres, brought her food, offered friendship and told her about God. Through their care she found a reason to smile again and discovered that this God responded when she cried out to Him.
Moldavia :: A Moldovan girl who participated at a day camp organised by an OM outreach team
Moldavia :: A small Moldovan holding onto his greatest delight - a ball. During a day camp for children, this boy found it hard to concentrate or participate in activities, but had the greatest joy simply kicking this ball back and forth with a team member and could have done this for hours.
