OM South Africa's Ministry Center is looking for a mechanic who wants to put their talents, skills and knowledge to work for God's Kingdom in full time ministry.

Do you have the skills and training for counseling orphans and vulnerable children?  Then we need you at our AIDSHope after-school care program in Mamelodi. 

You would be able to help these kids process trauma, abuse, anger and grief through a variety of child-friendly therapy methods.

We are looking for someone gifted with management and leadership skills to ensure the smooth running, effective usage and further enhancement of the OM South Africa headquarters.

You would be overseeing our Personnel, Finance, Maintenance and IT Departments, as well as the maintenance of our property.

Do you like to see things implemented and worked through? This role is all about implementing logical plans together with the Event Manager. It includes organizing venues for events, hospitality, catering, as well as organizing transport, technical, health & safety and other support services.

This is a wonderful opportunity to serve with OM SA as an Events Manager for all major events and short term outreaches inside and outside of South Africa. 

The job entails managing and leading a team and recruit additional volunteers.  It also includes managing an annual event operational plan including budget, promotion and timelines.  It will involve developing and managing operational systems and resources including financial, administrative, communication and IT.

With football the most popular sport in Egypt, OM has partnered with one of the fastest growing football academies in the country. Our goal is to provide high quality football training in Muslim and Christian academies using biblical principles as a basis for growth to bring the peace of God to our local communities. OM Madagascar is searching for someone to be involved in hosting football competitions and developing a stronger sports ministry. The majority of the ministry will be conducted in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar.

This person will not only be leading sports training but also responsible for Biblical training, and overseeing the spiritual growth of their participants through discipleship.

We are also seeking someone willing to conduct sports ministry opportunities in the rural areas of Madagascar. Sporting events often equate to community events in these small villages, so this person would be responsible for community development in their region.

There is currently a very small team serving God in Madagascar, and we need more labourers!

OM Madagascar would like to place a married missionary couple on this island to work with the local church.

Our finance team needs a servant-hearted person who can ensure good stewardship of our finances through using their gifts as an accountant in the area of budgeting, reporting and preparing the books for the annual audits.

We have a need for somebody who can maintain our computer systems. At this stage we have a Linux server and a miscellaneous collection of workstations!

However, this would not be a full time responsibility, which would leave you time to be involved in other ministry opportunities.

Here is an opportunity of a lifetime for a practical, adventure-loving person, who loves Jesus and also loves those who have yet to come to know Him as their saviour.

We need a person who will act as skipper/deck man and be responsible for the maintenance on an 8-man boat. 

The boat will serve as a medical clinic and will visit villages on the shores of Lake Tanganyika once a month on the Zambian side from Tanzania to D.R. Congo border (± 230 km roundtrip visiting ± 11 villages)

In Mpulungu on the shores of Lake Tanganyika is a school for orphan children.  These little people are in need of teachers who love the Lord and who will love them.

Our Orphan school runs from Grade 0 to 3. 

Other areas of ministry can include children’s ministry, tutoring school children and being involved in the ladies ministry.

An outstanding and really exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost Engineer to join the OM building team in Kabwe, Zambia.

In the role of Cost Engineer your responsibilities will include cost estimating , analysis, and control activities along with supporting the project's organisational and administrative activities.

Other primary duties include identifying cost trends for management attention and taking responsibility for cost engineering, cost estimating, and cost analysis/control activities.

Discipling the workforce is also one of the most important areas of your work. You will have the opportunity to lead devotions and get to know the Zambian workforce.

Life in Africa involves traveling long distances on poor roads.  Without our vehicles we would be very limited in our effectiveness.

Would you be willing to join our team in Zambia to help maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles? We also need someone to help us with driving within Kabwe, and also to Lusaka. Creativeness,innovativeness and loads of patience are key to excelling in this responsibility.
