Bateaux
1st or 2nd Engineering Officer Nouveau !
An additional 1st or 2nd Engineering Officer (Reg III/2) with experience to take responsibility for maintenance of the Logos Hope's main engines is required AS SOON AS POSSBILE.
The 1st/2nd Engineering Officer is accountable to the Chief Engineering Officer and will also be required to conduct efficient watch in the machinery spaces whilst at sea and duty watches in port.

Chief Engineering Officer Nouveau !
A Chief Engineer is required for the Logos Hope, either on a long term basis (preferred) or rotation basis AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

The Chief Engineering Officer is responsible to the Master for the safe and efficient running of all the ships machinery and technical systems, excluding those items of navigational and fire-fighting equipment, which come under the Deck Department.
Class Teacher
We are looking for qualified primary( age 5-11), secondary(age 11-14) and kindergarten teachers(1,5-5 years)) to serve on board our British curriculum school. The successful applicants need to be enthusiastic to serve as volunteers in this Christian environment. The teachers are especially appreciated as their service allows many key workers to serve on board. Small class-sizes, with children coming from many different countries and the family atmosphere within this school provide a unique teaching experience and may make this position the dream teaching job for you.

Graphic Designer
Working with the on shore Marketing and Communications team, you will be responsible for:
- Design and production of resources for print and web use.
- Managing the photo catalogue and support external requests for photos.
This position is shore based.
IT Support Engineer
Assist the IT Operations Manager in administration of deployed systems.
This is a shore based support position.
Media Relations Coordinator
Working with the Director of Communications, you will be responsible for:
- - Developing strong media resources .
- - Developing and maintaining media contact list .
- - Building relationships with key media outlets locally, nationally and internationally.
- - Helping to provide requested resources to the media.
- - Helping develop a PR strategy for the US market.
- - Monitoring media coverage.
Pipe Fitting Welder
We are looking for a qualified welder with welding and pipe fitting experience especially in the marine environment (desirable but not necessary). Together with a helper you assemble, weld and install pipe systems and related materialssuch as pipe supports, transition sleeves, fittings and auxiliary equipment.
You will ensure proper reporting of variations in due time with special attention to critical processes taking place.
Plumber
The applicant would look after the domestic water supplies throughout the ship.
Responsibilities would include the maintenance of wash rooms; vacuum toilet systems; water supply, use and drainage in the galley etc.
Refrigeration and Air conditioning Engineer
Responsible, under the Chief Engineer, for the operation and maintenance of all refrigeration and air conditioning systems on board Logos Hope.
Experience: previous experience with refrigeration and air conditioning systems required, preferably in a marine environment.
Systems on board:
Air conditioning - IMTEC chilled water, Carrier screw-type compressors - R - 404a (totalling about 2000kW cooling capacity), plus local systems for IT server room
Refrigeration - Stal Astra & Bitzer compressors R-134a direct expansion for main refrigerated spaces, and several smaller systems in various locations.
Web and New Media Designer
Working with the Director of Communications, this person will be responsible for:
- - Maintaining and developing the OM Ships web properties.
- - Updating and creating tools and systems for sharing information on the internet.
- - Working with e-mail newsletter system.
- - Analyzing web statistics and newsletter results to improve effectiveness.
Welder
We are ideally looking for someone with a certificate for plate and pipe welding.
