mission-net 2009 IN2 France: France

We want to provide an opportunity for Mission-Net participants to put into practice the lessons learned at the conference – a chance to grow in their faith as they step out in evangelism. At the same time, we believe they can have a great impact for the Gospel here in France. We want to accompany the participants in working with local churches to share the Good News in their city.

IN2 France is a super opportunity to immediately put into practice what you learned at the Mission-Net 2009 conference in Germany. Come make a difference for God in France and grow in faith as you spread the Gospel!

Ministry Details
The outreach will include workshops to train the participant in the evangelism methods to be used during the week. There will also be teaching on French spiritual issues. We will meet for daily prayer, worship, and devotional times.

We may use a variety of open-air evangelism methods: sketchboard, music, drama, surveys, etc. Open-air activities will be linked with literature distribution. International Evenings (variety show/Gospel presentation), a Christian film showing, and sports ministry are also possibilities.

Participant Profile
We are looking for participants motivated to share the Gospel. We welcome both French-speakers and non-French-speakers. You need to apply through the mission-net website (www.mission-net.org).

Accommodation: Participants will sleep in church members' homes.

Food: Meals will be in church members' homes and at the church.

Travel: Participants will need to arrange their own travel to and from the outreach. The outreach location will be accessible from the Paris Charles de Gaulle and the Paris Orly airports, as well as several Paris train stations.

How to Find Us: Detailed directions will be sent to participants.

Health: Participants should be in reasonably good health, ready for an intense week of evangelism activities. Any special needs (food allergies, special diet, a good bed due to back problems, etc) must be communicated as early as possible so that organisers can prepare to receive that person!

Visa: Some participants may require a visa. Those participants will need to begin their application process with the OM office in their country at least one month in advance of the application deadline given here. Please contact the OM office in your country for more information.
