mission-net 2009 IN2 Kosovo: Kosovo

We want to create an opportunity for young people attending mission-net 2009 to practically outwork the lessons and teaching learnt at the congress and assess God's calling for their lives. We also want them to make an impact in Kosovo as they reach out to unbelievers and as they encourage the local church.

You will join an international team of up to 20 people working alongside church planting efforts and reaching out to their local communities.

Ministry Details
The team will have the oppportunity to help reach out to a local community through school visits, youth activities and other evangelistic events. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate God's love through words and actions. Come prepared to make a difference and be challenged!

Participant Profile
Anyone who is a committed Christian and is able to maintain simple conversations in English. No previous experience is needed, as orientation will be provided. Applicants need to apply through the mission-net website (www.mission-net.org).

Accommodation: You will be hosted by local families, churches, or stay in hostels. Bedding will be supplied.

Food: Food will be provided and we need to be informed in advance of special dietary needs (vegetarian, etc..)

Travel: We will arrange one-way group travel on Monday 13 April from the mission-net congress in Germany to Kosovo. For bookings made by the end of January 2009, we anticipate it costing around 300 Euros for this one-way travel, which will include airport transfers, a low-cost airline flight and all taxes and charges.

How to Find Us: We will send travel details nearer the time for those not taking the group arranged transport.

Health: Participants should be in average good health and able to walk a reasonable distance without difficulty. Each participant is responsible to obtain appropriate emergency health and medical insurance.

Visa: Nationals from the EU, Canada, and the USA do not require a visa. We can provide more information about visa requirements and you can check out the website: www.projectvisa.com
