Our Regional/Provincial Representatives serve to build and maintain authentic relationships with the Christian community, resulting in strategic partnerships to help develop Global Christians involved in cross-cultural ministry. Click on the job title to find out more!

We want our representatives to:
1. Understand, serve and assist individuals, local churches and organizations to become what God intends them to be.
2. Challenge Canadian believers to live a life of holiness and obedience to Christ, while serving the church with care and integrity.
3. To discover, develop and direct, prayer partners, recruits and resources for the OM fields.
We are looking for the right people to serve as representatives in several provinces, especially Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.

The main responsibilities are:

1. Public Relations- To mirror the values and objectives of OM Canada to the Christian public. To build relationships with Pastors, churches Christian leaders, prayer partners and young people in such a way as to bring a response in praying, giving going and sending.
2. Public Ministry - To take meetings on behalf of OM, representing it's ministries around the world and spreading it's vision.
3. Recruiting- To actively seek workers for the OM fields, building relationships with promising contacts and candidates. This will involve communicating with the home churches of candidates so as to encourage the developing of an adequate prayer and financial support base.
4. Prayer - To keep in touch regularly with the existing OM Prayer Groups in your area, as well as to seek to establish new groups. It is desired to host one in your home that meets at least once per month (if possible) and to visit each prayer group in your area at least annually.
5. Line-up -To plan itineraries for visiting OM speakers and recruiting teams coming to your area. (possibly 1-2 annually)
6. World Partners- To seek to be an encourager of WP's in your area as well as keeping them informed of OM activities, funding and recruiting needs.
7. Hospitality- To have an open home for visiting OMers and OM Partners.
8. Mini-Missions- Assisting churches to reach out cross-culturally to those in their community.

Anyone for this ministry must be fluent in English and have previous experience with OM outside of Canada. Serving in Quebec requires one to be fluent in English and French.

Please note: all jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

South Asia Presentation Team in Canada

At the end of February 2006, two girls and a guy headed out for Canada and the outspread reaches of the Prairies. Two were Asia Challenge Team people, one from OM Nepal. Their task: to bring South Asia into the lives of those living in the Prairie towns. Their aim: to enthuse young Christians and challenge their worldview on what God is doing.
