Global Action Team Leader: Ireland

We are looking for an individual or a married couple to lead a team of people on OM’s Global Action programme (6 month – 2 year training programme). 

We would expect the person to receive a few months of orientation and training before taking on the responsibility of the GA team. This will give the person an opportunity to get to know the current OM Ireland team, settle into the country and get an understanding of the culture.

Once the Global Action team join us, you will ensure that the team is involved in regular effective evangelistic outreach into the local community and region in partnership with other local Christians; lead the team in training and envisioning the local church for mission; be responsible for the pastoral care of the team and development of team life; and also oversee the team’s training programme.

You will be accountable to OM Ireland’s National Evangelism Co-ordinator.


  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Commitment Length: 2-3 years (full time)
• 20 years old or more;
• A good understanding of OM and its values, structures and ethos;
• A walk with the Lord and an evangelistic heart and lifestyle in personal life and in team setting that will be an example and model to the team and local Christians;
• A good level and broad range of evangelism experience and skills that you can use and train others in;
• An ability to teach and train in the Bible and basic discipleship and missions issues;
• Experience of effectively leading a small team with an ability to motivate and care for others in a cross-cultural team – previous experience of OM Global Challenge or Global Action teams is an advantage;
• A desire to serve others and see them develop and to be released in their gifting individually and as a team;
• Good grasp of the basic administrative and organisational skills needed in running a team;
• You must fulfil the OM Ireland child protection requirements – this may involve a police check in your country before you join;
• Good level of social and networking skills;
• Good knowledge of English language is essential as team and ministry language is English.
