Bookkeeper/Accountant OM EAST (Austria): Austria

Serve the Lord as one of the most important people on the EurAsia Support Team.
1. Processing of payments made to countries you have probably never heard of, where the total Christian library would fit on one bookshelf.
2. Dealing with the petty cash to keep the rest of us on the cutting edge of bringing hope to forgotten peoples.
3. Doing all the rest of the stuff you do in OM accounting; working with Caleb's "girlfriend" Petra (OM Finance software), entering accounting information into the ledger, oversee accounts, payroll matters for staff members and maintain internal controls, prepare quarterly financial information for each department, perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and other control accounts.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Commitment Length: as long as possible (full time)
join at least for 6 months, but as long as possible
experience in bookkeeping; basic computer knowledge; knowledge of either English or German with the willingness to learn the other.

  • Childrens Ministry (Mission Awareness) - OM Austria
    You are part of a new GA team which is based in the city of Traun (next to Linz). The team is working alongside a local church which has chosen to reach out mainly to immigrant children and their families. Our day-center "i-point" is our ministry base and from there many other vital activities are carried out.
  • Public Relations Coordinator - OM Austria

In June, OM Austria sent teams to work with local churches in Innsbruck and Klagenfurt during the European Football Championships. Through many creative means they shared the gospel with thousands of football fans, and also with local residents.
