HOW CAN THEY BELIEVE IF THEY HAVE NOT HEARD?

You may be working on the first Christian book in their language, many of our ministry countries only have half a dozen Christian books total. Our Media department publishes material and our main focus is Eurasia, especially former communist countries.

You work in a team, communicate with the translators and editors layout the book or enter corrections in letters you have never seen before to prepare the document for press.
Primary responsibilities include graphics and layout of books, Scripture portions, booklets, tracts and Bible study helps
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Commitment Length: as long as possible (full time)
one year or longer, as long as possible

Experience:
Trained in desktop publishing and work experience in publishing documents using Adobe Creative Suite software preferred.

Skills:
+ Willing to learn about different alphabets and languages.
+ A sense of what looks good on the printed page or computer screen.
+ Team player
+ To do a behind-the-scene (screen) job

  • Childrens Ministry (Mission Awareness) - AU
    You are part of a new GA team which is based in the city of Traun (next to Linz). The team is working alongside a local church which has chosen to reach out mainly to immigrant children and their families. Our day-center "i-point" is our ministry base and from there many other vital activities are carried out.
  • Public Relations Coordinator - AU
    You coordinate and manage the area of public relations within OM Austria. If you have a flair for coordination, a passion to mobilize the Austrian church, ideas to develop PR materials and a talent to train staff in communication and PR, then you are the person we need right now!

    We are looking for someone who enjoys administration, managing databases, and OM newsletters subscription information, and other general reception duties. Position based in our office in Linz, Austria.
  • Short-term Mission personnel manager - AU
    As personnel manager "Short-term Mission", you manage and administrate all enquiries of interested participants and supervise processes and advise people before, during and after their mission experience.
    Other tasks could be: Working in international panels; doing the administration for our short-term mission experiences in Austria; helping to set up training conferences; recruiting people; speaking in churches and youth groups.
