Financial Developement Officer: Hungary

Serve OM Hungary's ministries through fund raising and by maintaining and developing relationships with partners and potential partners. You will work closely with the communications co-ordinator to produce follow up reports, thank you letters and creative feedback to maintain accountability.
There will be opportunities for you to get involved with the evangelism and church planting ministry.

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Commitment Length: 1-2 years (full time)

Able to communicate OM’s purpose and vision
Public relations skills
Flexibility in working hours
Ability to function as team player
Able to handle a high level of security sensitive information
Able to exercise good judgement and discretion in dealing with people and information
To plan, coordinate and assist in fund raising events and activities.
Desire to learn basic language and culture skills.

    Hungarians love sport, and American Football is a rapidly growing sport here. Join Sports Ministry with OM Hungary to reach people of all ages in Hungary with the gospel. Work together with a local club and church planter to build meaningful relationships through playing along side and halping Hungarians learn your favorite sport.
    No coaching experience is required with this position.
    Training is offered in sports ministry, language and culture.
  • Baseball sports coach
    Hungarians love sport, and Baseball is a rapidly growing sport here. Join Sports Ministry with OM Hungary to reach people of all ages in Hungary with the gospel. Work together with a local club and church planter to build meaningful relationships through baseball.
    No coaching experience is required with this position. You will also have the opprtunity to work with a local club and travel throughout Hungary playing in the National Hungarian League, as well as the surrounding countries.

  • Admin.assistant - HU
    Helping others to do frontline ministry is as spiritual as any other type of ministry. We need someone to help the field leader and leadership team members in various ares of background admin type of ministry. Beside this ministry there will be opportunities to be involved with short term teams or help church planters part time as well.

Accident damages team vehicle

On Saturday, 10 June, the OM Hungary team was involved in a serious car accident that damaged one team vehicle and destroyed another. While team members suffered minor cuts and bruises, praise the Lord no-one was seriously injured.
