English Teachers: Hungary

English teachers are needed in Hungary!
There are excellent opportunities to teach English, develope friendships and share the Gospel with many who still havent heard. Join existing opportunities or start your own and come alongside long term missionaries in sharing your faith in this practical way.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Commitment Length: 1-2 years (full time)
Teofl or equivalent an advantage but not nessasary as most of the teaching takes place in an informal class or conversation club setting.
An ability to make friends and a desire to share your faith.


Please note: all jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

  • Admin.assistant - HU
    Helping others to do front line ministry is as spiritual as any other type of ministry. We need someone to help the field leader and leadership team members in various ares of background admin type of ministry. Beside this ministry there will be opportunities to be involved with short term teams or help church planters part time as well.
  • American Football sports coach
    Hungarians love sport, and American Football is a rapidly growing sport here. Join Sports Ministry with OM Hungary to reach people of all ages in Hungary with the gospel. Work together with a local club and church planter to build meaningful relationships through this growing sport.
    Coaching experience is required with this position.
    Training is offered in language and culture.
  • Baseball sports coach
    Hungarians love sport, and Baseball is a rapidly growing sport here. Join Sports Ministry with OM Hungary to reach people of all ages in Hungary with the gospel. Work together with a local club and church planter to build meaningful relationships through baseball.
    Coaching experience is required with this position. You will also have the opportunity to work with a local club and travel throughout Hungary playing in the National Hungarian League, as well as the surrounding countries.
    Training is offered in language and culture.
  • Sports Coach
    Hungarians love sport, especially Baseball, American Football and Soccer. Join Sports Ministry with OM Hungary to reach the new generation – children and youth – of Hungary with the gospel. Work together with local club and church planter to build meaningful relationships through sport. Whether you have extensive sport and coaching experience or just love to play, if you have a passion for sport and want to learn to use that in ministry this could be the place for you!
