Literature Distribution & Sales has been one of our core ministries in Ecuador. We would like to see this ministry become a greater opportunity for educating the Christian community, to do friendship evangelism and to generate resources for local workers.
We are looking for a dynamic, visionary person who can help plan, budget, direct and manage the development of a Café Bookshop in Guayaquil - Ecuador.
  • Start Date: Thu 01 Jan 2009
  • Commitment Length: 2 years (full time)
* Project Management knowledge/experience.
* Some business knowledge/experience
* Organizational and administrative skills.
* Leadership Skills
* Willingness to learn the local language (We provide Spanish classes)
* Enjoy working with books & Literature in General.
* Initiative and creativeness to work with limited resources.
* Strong Personal Relationship with Jesus.

  • Communications Coordinator
    OM working in the Andean Region (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela) is in need of someone to coordinate communications across the 4 countries in which we work. This role requires good communication and motivational skills, as well as the ability to coordinate multi-cultural teams.
  • Church Planter - Santay Island
    Santay Island is situated in the river which forms the eastern border of the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. It is home to about 200 people, abandoned by the world for 50 years, and currently without an established church . For the last few years OM has been ministering part time here in partnership with a local church in the city, and a good relationship has been established with the people. The time is ripe to really press on towards an established church, but no one has been found to take on the challenge.

    5. Identifying and developing leaders.

    Do you have a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to share the message of the cross with those who have never heard? DO you want to help others to begin experiencing the joy of leading people to Christ? Then we are looking for you! Come help us reach the lost in Ecuador, and come help us mobilize and train Ecuadorian believers to do the same!
