Financial Accountant: Ships

The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities:
Providing timely and accurate maintenance of the General Ledger
Preparing and booking of journal entries.
Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
Assisting the Management Accountant in preparing regular financial statements.
Ensuring effective working capital and foreign exchange management.
Cash-flow forecasting.
Coach and mentor financial accountants.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Commitment Length: as long as possible (full time)
Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent)
Experience in a similar role.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead a small team.
Good computer skills, especially Excel and accounting software.

    The applicant will have to assist the Chief Cook in the preparation of meals for the entire ship's company as well as share the workload between him/her and the Chief Cook according to an agreed schedule.
  • Accounting Technician
