Training Team Leader: South Africa

To assist the training team director to effectively care for the trainees during their time with OM.

Flexibility is a key requirement!
1)The ministry that the training team leader is involved in is not a typical nine to five job. It is early morning to late at night, however there are times during the day when things are not as busy.
2)There are many other little responsibilities that can fill your day and the team leaders normally distribute it among themselves.
3)Training is the core of what we do!! an opportunity to minister in peoples lives with your testimony and experiences.
3)We work as a team an in most cases make decisions as a team. Team work is very important.










Please note: all jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

TeenStreet South Africa 2007 Participants<br>Everyone crammed together for the official group photo! Stationary Packs for Zimbabwe<br>Teens reached out to the young people of Zimbabwe by making stationary packs and writing letters of encouragement to be sent to that country. Sent Out to Serve<br>Two teens pray for a hospital patient. During this outreach God not only worked through the participants but in them challenging them of living a lifestyle of servanthood.<br /><br /><br /> Gospel presentation<br>Dan and his sons present the gospel with a powerful drama. Many participants responded to God?s invitation through them to follow Him. Sharing Testimonies<br>Professional South African soccer player, Ricardo Katza, was invited to share his testimony. Cross-Cultural Missions<br>One had teens travel around the world in 80 minutes ? they got a taste for some of the world's cultures (and their food!) and learned about God?s plans for the nations.

  • Personal Assistant
    Personal assistant to leader of AIDSLink International. Various administrative tasks, such as taking minutes, arranging travel, updating web page, accounting, communications and working on various projects. There are also opportunities to volunteer with local HIV and AIDS ministries one day a week.
  • Travelling Team Co-ordinator
    Promote missions awareness, and involvement for South Africans.
    Responsible to the director of Church Partnership. Work with: Regional Representatives, Teams from SA and Abroad, OM Speakers, Directors of Young Hope.Net, Aids Hope and Member Care.
  • Communications Officer
    Communication with churches, other OM teams, supporters and friends of the team. Writing and sending out newsletters, prayer updates, submitting articles to magazines, updating the web site, writing and designing brochures and other recruiting materials.
  • Financial Developer
    Through the ministry of OM South Africa, we mobilise the church into world missions,train new missionaries for cross-cultural missions and reach out to South Africans with the truth of Jesus.
    You will serve OM South Africa's ministries through fund raising and by maintaining and developing relationships with partners and potential partners. You will work closely with the communications co-ordinator to produce follow up reports,thank you letters and creative feedback to maintain acountability
  • Global Challenge Assistant
    Assist the Global Challenge Co-ordinator with organising short term outreaches.
