AIDS Centre Administration and hospitality: Nepal

We are looking for a couple to manage a Care Centre in Asia. The Centre will be a place where people living with HIV can stay on a short-term basis whilst accessing medical care in the capital city (medical care provided by hospital).
The couple would be responsible for the day to day management of the centre, odd jobs, creating a safe, loving environment. It would be ideal if they could also do administration work.

  • Start Date: Thu 01 Jan 2009
  • Commitment Length: 1-2 years (full time)
The ability to manage a large home and create a family environment, the ability to do odd jobs and minor repairs. Competent in administration. Flexible. Willing to do some language study.
Any medical qualifications or experience with development or in the HIV and AIDS field are welcome, but not necessary (if one of the couple were a nurse that would be ideal).

Please note: all jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
