Are you a passionate and experienced leader and fundraiser? Our growing financial development team is looking for you!

Required Skills

The Director of Development, reporting directly to the Executive Director, assumes a leadership role responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising programs. These programs aim to drive growth, cultivate a robust donor pipeline, and foster deeper donor relationships.

You will be accountable to the Executive Director of OM Canada.

You will develop strategic plans and facilitate execution in order to ensure robust support for development activities and organizational goals.

You will cultivate and steward development opportunities and relationships in order to facilitate the consistent and sustainable achievement of financial goals.

You will lead the development team in order to support personal development and departmental sustainability.

You will be actively involved in team life at your location when possible, in order to ensure you are ministering to others and being ministered to.

You will actively develop and maintain a prayer support base for your ministry with OM Canada, in order to resource your ministry and that of OM Canada with prayer resources. 

All your work will be carried out in accordance with written and verbally communicated internal and external safety, environmental and country specific legal regulation in order to ensure safe working practice.

  • Experience working with volunteers
  • CFRE designation an asset

Other requirements

  • 5+ Years of senior leadership experience in the Canadian non-profit sector, ideally with a faith-based organization
  • 3+ years of successful experience in Major Gift solicitation
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
  • Hold a valid passport and able to travel abroad when required
  • Technical competencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet search engines
  • Experience with CRM, data analytics, and donor databases

You will work either at our head office or remotely. Your schedule will include travel within Canada and internationally (30%)
